Zooming into the black hole at the centre of our galaxy

This zoom video sequence starts with a broad view of the Milky Way. We then dive into the dusty central region to take a much closer look. There, a swarm of stars orbit around an invisible object: a supermassive black hole, 4.3 million times that of the Sun. As we get closer to it, we see these stars, as observed by the NACO instrument on ESO’s Very Large Telescope (the last observation being from 2019). As we zoom in further, we see stars even closer to the black hole, observed with the GRAVITY instrument on ESO’s Very Large Telescope Interferometry in mid-2021.

@@tonywells6990 the horizon event size is only 44 million km diameter and the closest approach for the star is 15 billion km, so at this distance you dont notice so much the gravitational lens, except if another star close enough pass behind the black hole, but with naked eye you dont notice it and with telescope you only notice it if you look at good spot to give you a idea sun si 1.4 million km diameter and we are at 150 million from sun, so the ratio is 100 the ratio for 44 million km to 15 billion km is at least 300 is mean the black hole look like 3 time smaller from this star than the sun to us will you notice the sun if it is black like the night sky even if the has gravitational lens ?

@@PedroSilva_ytptbr The "supermassive" black hole in the center of our galaxy is not glueing the galaxy together like our sun glues together our solar system. The mass of Sagittarius A is only 0,00029% of the mass of the milky way. That's way too small to hold it together. For comparison: Our Sun has more than 99% of the mass of our solar system.

Studying those center stars you can clearly see that there is a playback which hinders you from seeing the real revolution of the stars. If you look close enough you'll notice that there are seven black spheres and each sphere has a set number of stars revolving around them. Sphere #1 has one star, sphere #2 has two stars and so on up to sphere #7 which has seven stars. This could represent the origin of the balls of the famous dragon ball z show. Maybe they know something we don't. Can we say that at the center of each galaxy there are seven spheres which dictates the order of the birth of stars? Food for thought.
