Zoo TV. My dear Zoo TV. My defining moment. If I had to relive a certain period of time again and again, for the rest of my life, it'd be following the Zoo TV tour those two years. What a magic thing it is.

100% Agree. I’ve been a massive fan ever since I heard Bad on the radio in 1984. Considering there was no internet or social media back then, it took me almost 2 weeks to figure out who it was. Joshua Tree tour was the first time I saw them live. I have seen every tour since then. But I’m also in music nut. So I’ve seen virtually every major act at/near their peak - Pink Floyd, Queen (with Freddie), Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, etc. I only say any of that to provide context for what I’m about to say.. At their touring peak (which in my opinion is Joshua Tree, Lovetown, ZooTv, PopMart) aside from Queen w/ Freddie Mercury and Pink Floyd, no one can touch them live. Including themselves later on. I can only imagine the show ZooTV era U2 would have put on to open the Vegas Sphere. As an aside, the 2 shows I would list as the greatest I’ve ever seen are 1993 ZooTV and 1994 Pink Floyd Division Bell/Pulse. They were within 14 months of each other. Boy was I spoiled.

At 36:57 The Edge is sitting in a cafe opposite Marylebone station in London. The building with the arched windows you can see is the Landmark Hotel next to the station.
