Since you were wondering throughout the movie, the herbivores eat what they usually would, vegetables, fruits, grasses, things like that. The predators only eat fish, since fish and insects haven't 'evolved' yet. I’m really interested to see if they’ll include birds! I’d love that. Reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates aren’t that smart, but birds compete with mammals, so it would make sense that they evolved as much as mammals did
@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF10 ай бұрын
also most animals, or at least mammals, are actually _technicallyyy_ omnivorous. their primary diet is whatever they're classified as of course (in the case of herbivores/carnivores) because that's where they get the bulk of their nutrients, but by technically omnivorous i mean most animals do not 100% strictly eat within their classification. deers, horses, etc occasionally eat meat, whether it be killing and eating birds, snakes, or being straight up fed meat by humans. wolves, birds of prey, bears, alligators, etc sometimes eat grass and fruit (by choice and when fed it). so i assume when it comes to zootopia, those traits took over, and they eat fruits and veggies just like the herbivores, perhaps supplementing their meat needs with fish, since it doesn't seem the fish are sentient in this universe. one of the shows that goes deeper into an all-animal world and the food chain like this is Beastars (both the anime and the manga). highly recommend it, the world building is fantastic, very intriguing.

When they were creating this movie, they felt that the best way to tell the story of predator vs prey was to reserve all the anthropomorphic animals to be mammals since animals of other groups (ie fish, birds, bugs) don't have that clear distinction as well as mammals do.

I have the answer to your question about the animals and what they eat. In Zootopia the only higher life forms are the mammals. That's why the word 'mammal' is used in place of 'human' or 'person.' So other animals like fish and insects exist, but they are still lower life forms and can be eaten. Meanwhile, most or all prey are herbivores.

Lowkey I thought she was gonna be really upset that the sheep was the villain but instead it was complete opposite and was even on board with the villain plot hilarious 😂

Unsure if anyone has answered it or not but as to what predators eat, the only animals to be "evolved" are mainly mammals. So predators would have a variety of fish/seafood and probably avian/poultry options. They also have insects as potential options for meat/protein such as a burger patty made from ground/mashed insects. Zootopia has a lot of themes about defying expectations and stereotypes. Like Judy being a rather effective and efficient police officer despite being a rather small rabbit. Or you have Clawhauser who is a cheetah...though is more overweight and out of shape as opposed to being fast and fit like you'd expect from a cheetah. Despite looking cute and cuddly, otters can actually be pretty vicious (there was a news story not too long ago about some river tubers who were attacked by a river otter and one person had her fingers chewed up and almost lost an ear). And even with the big reveal at the end with Bellwether being the mastermind behind the whole Night Howler incident despite looking like a cute fluffy little sheep. Zootopia was originally planned to have some much darker themes. One of the main ideas that was tested was that all the predators had to wear shock collars that would shock them whenever they got "too emotional". There is actually trail footage and story boards that can be found that showed a polar bear cub on his birthday being gifted his shock collar by his father and he ends up getting shocked by it after getting too excited. There was also test footage that showed Nick having a doctor's check-up (which is one of the only times a predator can have their collar removed) and taking the collar off is treated like disarming a bomb. There is even a moment were Nick experiences pure joy with his collar off while rubbing his bare neck before he is snapped back to the harsh reality when the doctor snaps his collar back on. There is a Zootopia 2 that has been confirmed to be released sometime late 2025 (in either September or November). There is however a sort of mini series called Zootopia+ that is steaming on Disney+ that seems to follow other characters in the universe, like an otter waitress working and hoping to be able to attend a Gazelle concert (if I recall).

Bellwether is absolutely a villain, mistreated or not. But that’s the great thing about entertainment - you can support whoever you want regardless of their morality. And I have to say, your hair looks great.

This movie caught me by surprise. It got funnier and funnier as the jokes picked up. The classic scene at the DMV with the sloth made the whole thing worth it. My friend and I were watching it and I was yelling at the screen as to why th3 b7nny rabbit was 3ven listening to the Fox. He stopped me in my tracks when he asked, "Why? You mean you don't recognize your own behavior. That's how you get people to do what you want them to do." I was floored. Of course, I denied it. But after the second watch, I laughed even harder. This time at myself. Recommendations for your next animated movie are THE IRON GIANT, THE SECRET OF N.I.M.H., THE CROODS, and of course, THE INCREDIBLES. Love ❤️ your channel, Jax. You and Lamby are great at reactions. Merry Christmas ! Happy Holidays ! and enjoy.

Thank you for your reaction! awesome. As a sheep enthusiast I would recommend a New Zealand film for you "Black Sheep" 2006. Also a great movie I seen recently which is an Australian remake of an Icelandic movie "Rams" 2020.

Insects didn't get there own section of Zootopia because insects are EVERYWHERE and can call anywhere their own.

Not sure if you caught on the reference but the scene with Doug preparing the Nighhowler shots is a reference to Breaking Bad. His coworkers/henchmen Woolter and Jesse is also reference to Walter and Jesse in the show.

Hey, Jacqueline! This probably got lost in the avalanche of comments so I'm re-posting it here. "Far From Home" is set in 2024 and you just leap-frogged over a ton of content by following the haphazard release order post-"Endgame". It is highly advisable to see the SIX pre-MCU Spider-Man films, the MCU-adjacent "Venom", Netflix "Daredevil" and the THIRTEEN pre-MCU X-Men films before diving into the rest of Phases 4 and 5 as they all become part of the narrative from here on out. You will miss key references if you skip this stuff which mostly happens to be incredibly entertaining! X-MEN: 1. X-Men 2. X2: X-Men United 3. X3: The Last Stand 4. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 5. X-Men: First Class 6. The Wolverine: Extended Edition 7. X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut 8. X-Men: Apocalypse 9. X-Men: Dark Phoenix 10. Deadpool 11. New Mutants 12. Logan 13. Deadpool 2 SPIDER-MAN: 1. Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 2 3. Spider-Man 3 4. Amazing Spider-Man 5. Amazing Spider-Man 2 6. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse 7. Venom NETFLIX MARVEL: DAREDEVIL Season 1 JESSICA JONES Season 1 DAREDEVIL Season 2 LUKE CAGE Season 1 IRON FIST Season 1 THE DEFENDERS [limited series] PUNISHER Season 1 JESSICA JONES Season 2 LUKE CAGE Season 2 IRON FIST Season 2 JESSICA JONES Season 3 DAREDEVIL Season 3 PUNISHER Season 2 ODDS AND ENDS: 1. All Hail the King One-Shot (if you want to know how Trevor ended up with Wenwu in "Shang-Chi") 2. I Am Groot shorts post-"Guardians of the Galaxy": "Groot's First Steps", "The Little Guy", "Groot Takes a Bath", "Are You My Groot?", "Groot's Snow Day" 3. I Am Groot shorts post-"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2": "Groot's Pursuit", "Groot Noses Around", "Groot's Sweet Treat", "Magnum Opus", "Groot and the Great Prophecy" (before Teen Groot end-credit scene) 4. "BLACK WIDOW" should be seen before any other Phase 4 film as it takes place during "Civil War"! The end-credit scene is best seen after "Falcon and the Winter Soldier". 5. "Marvel Studios Celebrates the Movies" [3-minute official Marvel trailer on YT that looks back on the saga and looks ahead to Phases 4 and 5 with Stan Lee voiceover] It is also highly advisable to proceed through Phases 4 and 5 CHRONOLOGICALLY because the release schedule was haphazard and lacked cohesion due to the 'Rona, business compromises, lack of oversight, internal politics and a glut of product. This approach SPOILS NOTHING and makes the narrative somewhat more sensible and orderly improving your experience. RECOMMENDED PHASE 4 VIEWING ORDER: 2023 1. Loki: Season 1 [outside of time but begins during "Avengers: Endgame"] 2. Loki: Season 2 [immediate continuation that sets up EVERYTHING that follows] 3. What If...?: Season 1 [alternate timelines] 4. WandaVision 5. THE ETERNALS 2024 6. SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS 7. Falcon and the Winter Soldier 8. Black Widow end-credit scene 9. Moon Knight 10. SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME 11. VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE [MCU-adjacent] 12. SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME 13. DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS 14. Hawkeye 2025 15. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law 16. WAKANDA FOREVER 17. Ms. Marvel 18. THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER 19. Werewolf by Night 20. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special PHASE 5 2026 21. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA 22. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 23. Secret Invasion 24. THE MARVELS
