Zorah Magdaros Skull Found in The Guiding Lands - Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Found this while exploring the new post-game map. It is not the one from the story mode since this map is far east of the new world and "our" Zorah Magdaros left to the ocean in the west, but it is still a nice detail!

Not really It was trying to get to the elders recess in order to die being attracted by Xeno'jiiva That would have caused the whole continent to blow up because of the massive amounts of bioenergy Zorah Magdaros had (also, the one in the guiding lands is not the same we fight in game)

This Zorah is way bigger than the story one. And there's also a Dalamadur corpse in guiding lands.

i believe the dalamadur corpses are in the rotten vale, and having fought on zorah's head, no, that's about the right side.

Hang on. Don’t feel bad for it because it’s not the same one as the one we drove away. This skull is way bigger than the one that we fought and also if it made the guiding lands then this one must’ve been far older too. I think this Zorah died long ago. But if it died out in the ocean instead of the vale and there were no humans to drive it away… what stopped it from going to the vale?

considering this one was even larger than the one we drove away i'd assume it was maybe just.. too old to travel at that point in its life, it could of easily been too easily exhausted to make a big travel and decide it would pass right where it was. Plus it likely had to deal with nergigante's driving it mad and chipping it away at it due to its age.

How it looks, it should be from another zorah magdaros, there is a lot of elder dragons traveling to the new world.

No. Just like what the commander told us during the MHW story, elder dragons, in this case zorah, will come to the new world to die, leaving their bountiful amounts of energy to basically start a whole new eco system. You can see this in the rotten vale, where the map is basically taking place inside the remains of Dalamadur, which meant that it died there and brought life in the rotten vale.

@@bmist4kerc674 Yeah, and it's likely that the Guiding Lands were created by the Zorah we drove away. At least that's what I think, seeing as how it had enough energy to end the world should it have died in the everstream
