The post said that like Zoro's swords, Yoru has a will of its own and possibly even its own attacks because of this. In the chapters where we see Mihawk fight, he only ever says that "THIS BLADE will cut you down" etc. Mihawk never says "I will cut you down". We all know that Oda is a stickler for word play too. I thought it was interesting and it would make more sense as to why Mihawk really fought, due to the Shanks v Mihawk Haki Arms race. Word has gotten out that Shanks has something for Mihawk's Observation Haki. Mihawk has a new technique but he hasn't mastered yet thus him not using it.
