Im pretty new to zosi cameras still. Dont have my hands on that model yet. Or any of the brand new ones that were from CES. I've only tested some of their PTZ from last year. Video quality looks excellent, but man they need to give you the ability to properly download footage AND fix those notification issues.

Great review of the Zosi C186 camera. It does have a slightly brighter night vision compared to the Reolink CX410. The inconsistent response time of notifications is a negative but that may be due to Rich Notifications coming from another network server. The response time could get worse as more people purchase these cameras which adds traffic to the server. What I don't like about Zosi is that their NVR software is outdated and hasn't changed in years. Does the Zosi AI software generate a lot of false alerts? Reolink AI software is extremely accurate and I rarely receive false notifications. Reolink AI also detects vehicles, people, and animals. IMO, Reolink NVR software GUI is 100% better than Zosi's NVR software. I think the Zosi C186 with NVR may be the cheaper option for someone on a budget.

Kind of. I was able to add it but it disconnects frequently. Reolink does say that their NVRs only works with their cameras.

notification seems quite slow for a wired camera. my reolink is faster and it's wireless. night vision when it's dark is very good, maybe better than reolink in this comparison but conditions might be different. good enough to read license plates but need to fix 10 fps issue for downloaded and NVR footage.

It's definitely a great picture at night I can achieve an amazing picture at night with my wyze V3 with a 60-watt light bulb lit in the yard it allows my camera to see everything I wish I was able to post a picture so you can see it. And in the front of my house I have two solar spotlight on my flag that you can barely see but it's just enough for the camera to see like daylight. Nice review I hope they fix the problems this camera definitely has potential

I actually have a question regarding the Wyze cameras. I have 13 wyze cameras and pan cams combined and they all work like they’re supposed to when I’m at home on Wi-Fi but when I leave home and I have my iPhone with me which is an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I am on 5G the Wyze app will not load the cameras so I have no way of knowing what’s going on at home when I’m gone with my phone. Another issue I have with the Wyze cameras and app is that even though I am a cam plus customer in the app it keeps asking me to sign up for cam plus which I already have and it won’t let me use some of the features. As I’m sure everyone knows trying to get anything done through Wyze support is futile wyze does not care about their customers. This is a fact that is very obvious when googling customer support and my experiences have not been any better. My question is are the Eufy cameras and App. any better and more dependable than Wyze?

Reolink. I have a Reolink NVR with 5 POE cameras for 3 years, no issues with it. Can still download firmware updates for the NVR using a flash drive in fat32 format to support new camera models and security updates. I recommend this brand.

@@triniscout it is the best option between both of them. Most people care about actually having a decent mobile app and a wide camera support. There is no best obviously but for 99% of people I would stay away from zois

Interesting. The daylight footage almost looks just like a brighter version of the night time footage at a higher framerate which in this case isn't a good thing. Obviously you buy this for the no illuminator night video and I suppose if that's your use case its pretty good. For me, for general surveillance without the need to be sneaky I would prefer better image quality during the daytime (This doesn't even look like 2k) and can live with either white light or a black and white IR image for night time video that doesn't have the "Ghost walking across a still photo" look to it. I normally chalk these compromises up to reducing bitrate for storage or lowering bandwidth but with a PoE wired connection I would assume you could do much better. This might be acceptable for a WiFi camera but I expect better quality from a wired system IMO.

Just get the IR camera and color nightvision then.... Its a no brainer. You will get the best of both worlds. Color night vision is crucial.

Color night vision still requires some amount of light to function well. If your setting is pitch black it would be better to get an IR camera

Get Hikvision colorvu 8MP for color night (given that you have decent amount of lighting at night) Or Get a hikvisiom darkfighter 8MP if your setting if pitch black

can it work with reolink nvr or has to be there's? I have rich notification on my reolink and it's faster. not sure if it relies on ZOSI servers to serve up notifications and can you see the footage on your phone even if internet is down at least locally.
