@TacticalConsiderations I added one to my build. Even with XL mits it's a game changer. Gives just enough length to get the pinky on and force the fingers into the rrigger guard. I'd say between the G19 and G17 grip length.

I’m really considering getting one of these for replacing my G19 as a carry pistol after I drop that into a Recover Tactical Glock Chassis… also, could you please find a way to shoot and evaluate ZRO Delta’s Ready Series AR-15 and perhaps compare it to some like-priced AR’s? Or perhaps even one of their ZULU or LVOA series ones? ZRO Delta is a company I am quite curious about especially now and would like to see more light shed on them.

Hey Mike, im currently thinking about doing a build as for my first rifle, of course its easier for me to buy on preset but many prebuilt rifles out there are id say not what im looking for, because looking at the pre built theres stuff i do want to upgrade and stuff but dont want to spend the additional cost of it whil already spending thousands on a rifle and extra 800+ on just accessories. My personal build will be starting with is the SLR rifle works upper and receiver set with the which is the B56 i think its called, their ION 14.6" rail. On to the internals ill be buying a 14.7" FN barrel their chrome lined and cold hammer forged barrel which will be a carbine length because they dont offer it in a mid length. The bolt and bolt carrier group will be an LMT with their enhanced bolt. The gas block is a titiaium Sentry 9 from SLR. Gas tube im thinking about using a V seven or from SLR because if the gas port size. Flash hider is from knights armament since i love the look and the size of the suppressor a pin snd welded option too. The buffer tube looking for a buffer tube that uses a dry film lubricant. Now on the the reason why i didnt go with the ambi builer set i didnt go with the builder set ambi because as a lefty i dont feel the need to have the ambi bolt release the mag release is fine and i want to use the stuf that i do want use and not use its the one thing i dont need. Now on to the cool stuff if you will, the left hand mag release im thinking about going with troy industries or others im looking into, the stock it will be the B5 SOPMOD stock love that stock but will be using or getting will be the fattest one they have either the enhanced or goverment model. Stuff on the handguard it will be a cloud defensive rein 3 light and the foregrip either a strike industries hand stop aluminum version. Optic since its sorta a RECEE build/set up ill be using a red dot or an LPVO, LPVO thinking of leuophold or trijicon. The pistol grip a Daniel defense grip and the panels im thinking about the one blackout defense sells. And i forgot trigger it will be the blackout defense curved in a 4.5lbs trigger. Now what i really help with is generally gas block and how it goes on the barrel and gas tube sizing if they are usually proprietary or they are not. Sorry if this long but hope it helps and what im using will work with the build i want to do

Im still leankng toward a dagger frame with OEM Glock internals. I would need to handle this one, but the dagger just feels good in my hand. Glock OEM slide, direct cut for an EPS and a radian ramjet and afterburner *chefs kiss*

The Dagger is a great platform but you really can't beat the OEM internals of a Glock for reliability.

What you mainly are testing on these Glock clones are their slides, it is very hard to mess up the frame on one of these clones (unless the company is run by an idiot or has bad manufacturing). My problem with Glock 19 or 17 clone pistols is the fact they often cost more than a used Glock 19 or 17, which for most people it makes more sense to get one of those. Now lets say you already have an extra aftermarket slide, then something like this Grit Grip frame, or a PSA Dagger frame, make perfect sense, and I believe their frames are perfectly reliable for carry (to each their own), and the slide is the part that has to be well machined. This also means that you have people who will not carry/use this pistol because it doesn't have a Glock brand frame. Even if their personal concealed pistol is a Glock 19 with an entirety of aftermarket parts on it, including an aftermarket ZEV or HGW slide on it (I think its hypocritical). Also any plans on reviewing some HGW aftermarket glock slides?

I do wish HGW would sort out their website a bit more. Unfortunately brownells stopped doing 17-4 slides with zevs rmr cut, so hgw seems to be the only other source other than zev

@@mghegotagun HGW has always been quality for me personally, I trust them as much as an original Glock slide. I think a HGW slide on a Dagger frame, is the best value defensive pistol money can buy. Get HGW reliability on the cheapest frame around. I personally do not trust PSA's slides enough to trust my life on them, but their frames work perfectly for completing a gen 3 build.

In Tiberius Gibbs video on this gun, the slide didn’t match up to the frame flush. The gun worked fine but looked super janky. I would definitely say they have QC issues. Might be small little details things, but little problems can add up to become a bigger problem.

It is cool I had and ran a couple Glocks. I just prefer a cz, Walter or a more nuetral grip angle. I have tight wrists so Glock is not comfortable to shoot for any length of time. This looks good or the nomad defense also looks nice.
