Definitely. I don't know why western people are so ignorant.... Wait I know CNN, fox news, movies etc. There is a reason why Americans are known as stupid. Also when they read that list out, people get stoned or put to death when they commit such an act in public, not in private quarters. It's all about vision 2030

Hey, JohnSmith. Did you listen? 1:28. Zuby says: "Saudi Arabia has no taxes. Period. The whole country. The infrastructure around the cities - not just the ex pat areas - is excellent. It is safer. You are safer in any Saudi Arabian city than any U.S. city, by miles." Sos - the female and money addict - cries out for alcohol. The big guy admits that he does not know much about Saudi Arabia. ... It’s not only towards Saudi Arabia, it’s any country in the world, Americans have this thing called « American exceptionalism » where every other culture is automatically inferior(weather they know it or not it 100% exists)…you should see how Americans who’ve never left America behave when they go to certain countries especially third world countries who are welcoming to them, or even first world muslim countries, hell even secular first world countries(although not as bad but still)…that is why the world have always generally speaking dislikes Americans. As an American i love my country but it’s the sad truth I wish we weren’t so arrogant and ignorant, it’s a horrible combination.

I lived in Dubai for 7 years, moved back home last year. I miss it. The more I stayed there, the more I liked it. I've been to New York about a dozen times after dreaming about it since childhood. I've lived in dubai since 2010, will definitely miss it when I return to the US some day. The issue, however, is unless you're Lindsay Lohan you're not going to settle down and grow roots here. @cozakokotano6448 I've been to Dubai multiple times, and it's not all its cracked up to be. The slave labor it takes to build their attractions is pretty interesting, though. The UAE is running out of oil, so thats why they have to build obnoxious attractions in order to focus more on tourism. Also, i hate to break it to you, but more people immigrate to the USA than any other country, and it's because the USA offers more opportunities to succeed 🤷🏾‍♂️. There's no denying this.

If you tout UAE as being better than America than you value prosperity over freedom. Sure Dubai a nice place for a certain subset of expats (because they have a stream of money that the government can rely on to prop up the illusion of prosperity), but it's entirely greed driven and the luxuries don't extend to the lower classes. They exploit labor, they censor any speech that is culturally sensitive (so basically all speech that matters). The western countries have their problems but we have the solution in the form of Constitutions that uphold liberty for the most part, we just need to get back to basics in law and stop swallowing what the crooks in government are getting away with.

went on holiday to dubai with the family for NYE, we payed alot of money for tickets to a party. we were critical of the partys events that sold us to buy the tickets, such as fireworks and such and we complained a little that the party was lack lustre for ticket price, maybe we shouldve said nothing ? come the end of the night, My brother was attacked for being gay and chased out of the party. my father was held by bouncers while others beat him and i was cornered by other bouncers so i couldnt help any of my family. in hindsight i reckon we pissed off the promoter/party runner/owner with our complaints and this was our treatment for it. sure dubai might have benefits, but im 100 percent sure that if your not muslim you will be singled out for being a westerner in the country in certain circumstances and no one will help you as a foreigner

Westerns will be singled out? Or perverts and mentally ill people will be singled out? Dubai is great. At least they have boundaries. Stay in NY my friend... That is where you belong. Sin City is your home. Stop shitting on other countries and relax. Just keep living your no boundaries life where you're at.

Dubai is beautiful, but there are crazy problems lurking underneath. UAE doesn't have the oil reserves other areas have.

It's not built on oil money anymore. It's primarily tourism now. Dubai is not relying on oil money anymore and started diversifying it's economy since the mid 2000s. Abu Dhabi is the oil king of the UAE
@boogerstastesalty
@boogerstastesalty Жыл бұрын
@@Sum_Ting_Wong I realize they are diversifying, but I've read several breakdowns that talk about the tourism not being enough to cover the eventual loss of oil revenue. Saudi Arabia is doing a similar thing right now as well as they anticipate the need for oil will go down over the coming decades.

I’m always skeptical of countries with populations that are either the exact size, smaller or slightly bigger than just ONE Large American Metropolitan city. Saudi has a population of 35 million . It’s easy to offer amazing Benefits when your population is small, the ground is filled with a resource worth its weight in gold and the majority of the country is uninhabitable due to extreme geographic conditions. It’s like people that rep Scandinavian countries, there populations are half the size of New York City alone. Now if you were to multiply their population by 10X , im sure they wouldn’t have the same benefits.

"Do you know what companies can do if they don't pay taxes?" Buy more politicians and increase the wealth of the owners.

It's funny that you think taxes don't benefit the politicians that work for the government. Conversly the companies may pay more to their employees as well. Anyone that thinks taxes are some huge boon to the regular populace is crazy.

PBD is gaslighting or just downplaying the importance of no tax in those countries. "What's the big deal if they don't pay taxes!" Most big companies in the U.S. one can rightfully point out, pays little or no taxes. Warren Buffet's secretary pays more tax than he does. So my question to PBD is; why aren't these corporations pay for the education of their employees and their kids like they do in Saudi Arabia?

The reason Dubi and Saudi are booming is because of American foreign policy. They are the only oil producers that other countries can buy form without American sanctions. Iran, Russia, Venezuela, can’t sell to our trade partners.
