A lot of comments have talked about Warblade of the Hakkari being better than Brutality Blade in the off-hand. They are much closer than I made it seem. According to the most popular spreadsheet, The Hakkari Warblade is .1% better in full t2. They are nearly identical in damage.

Also worth noting that this makes them BiS for human rogues who do not want maladath in offhand. This frees up Brutaliy Blade for your human warriors as well.

Great video dude! I hope you keep making these for naxx and aq :) One thing, the shoulder and trinket together are bis for both dagger and swords in pve. There is a pin on the classic rogue discord about it.

Let's say that I'm over the soft hit cap, I think I have 11% with ony neck , isnt Eye of Hakkar better at the point because of the huge boost to ap?

Going into the later phases of Classic, will daggers or swords be more fun with the coming content? I don't know the loot from AQ and Nax at all and was wondering what you would advise based on your knowledge of the loot to come.

Come Aq and backstab book youll have more fun swapping to seal fate, its alot more interactive and once you get the 2.5 set youll see #s pop. By naxx time you can swap between sf swords/dags both are fairly close dps wise but ofcourse consider your other gear comp.. like mc.. if you get good daggers before swords stay sf dags

hey! a noob question :(, yesterday I won CTS in BWL, but I had viskag in my MH and mirah song as offhand, I put CTS as main, and viskag as Ofhand, is this ok? and should i have the offhand warblade instead of my viskag ?, and if I would have to replace it with the warblade, can you explain why? Thanks: D P.S = I also have maladath, but everyone says it doesn't work for me because I'm a "human rogue", and the skillcap on weapon is 10 ... so I'd love for you to help me with this :(

You should use CTS in your main hand and Maladath in your offhand for now. You won't benefit from the sword skill, but your weapon speed will be faster causing you to get more instant poison and sword spec procs. Since you don't benefit from the weapon skill, you should look to get the off-hand war blade or a brutality blade for your off hand, because they have stats that will increase your damage.

what about seal of the gurubashi berserker(share loot, a ring with 13sta and 40ap), is it better than julio when i have more 10% hit without one of ring. How do u determine the value of hit chance and attack power and crit chance after u reach soft hit cap?

The ring is worse than pre-raid B is in raid. You can use stat weights or Rogue spreadsheets to figure out the value of stats.

I got my second ring (band of jin) last night. I did a comparison of this and my desired rings (band of accuria and master dragon Slayer's ring) and the difference is only like 12 ap and 1% hit. I'm satisfied with this until I can get those other rings.

I noticed the belt you showed was not the Mindcap Mantle, instead it was the quest reward belt. Is the Mindcap Mantle a better choice than T1 or T2 belt (without set bonus)? Stats are basically the same as T2 belt but with 1% hit instead of 1% crit. Which is preferred?

I think you are confusing the token that looks like a belt that is turned in to get the madcap mantle for an actual belt. Madcap mantle is a shoulder piece and it is best in slot for daggers when you have the renataki trinket equipped (and you are not rank 10 in PvP).

In my current gear, the blooddrenched give an extra 5.35dps over NS, more than likely because of the 24% hit hard cap on white damage despite slightly lower base stats.

For Human rogues only: In fully buffed raid environment with no 8/8 BF set and Vis'kag in MH, WBoH is on average 4dps better than BB. With 8/8 BF the average difference is 10dps. Also, you have to take into consideration that the better main hand weapon you have better scaling with Hoj and Sword specialization. (i.e. CTS gains extra 3-4 DPS compared to Vis'kag) This is bloodmoon spreadsheet data.

how many tier pieces should you aim for as dagger rogue to break shadowcraft set bonus? I got PB & CHT first, and now its time to start getting tier pieces.

It's tough to say because 4 PC shadowcraft is still competitive with T1 depending on the pieces. I wouldn't break 6 pc till you get 2 set pieces, then wouldnt break 4 pc till you have 4 set pieces

That is true, momo, but just the wee tiniest bit better… like +1.23 dps, which is insignificant. Honestly, it isn’t worth spending a /roll on the Warblade OH **unless** you don’t yet have the BB in your OH. Of course, if you’re a min/max kind of person and/or have OCD-which I understand completely-then of course go for it!

Warblade of the Hakkari is the Best OH you can get through all of classic as a human, no other OH will boost your ap as much as warblade and it makes your main hand hit so much harder that its not even debatable, also the speed allows for more poison procs

Zatar T2 has less AP than the Zg shoulders. How are the T2 shoulder still Bis for daggers?

Could you clarify which two items you are comparing? The only place where t2 shoulders show up is for combat swords because of the 8 set bonus. The rank 10 head and shoulders are bis for daggers because of the set bonus. Tier 1 are are ever so slightly better than the zg shoulders because 6 agility is better than 9 strength..
