I have a full T2 Mage and decided to switch to Rogue mid AQ release because it was always my favorite and main from Vanilla and glad I did! I can tell you're really wanting to Lol, it's worth it.

bis lists is different from horde to alliance, from dagger to swords, and even if youre world buffed or not. pally buff makes alliance dagger rogues able to get 8% over crit cap if they go slot for slot best in slot so they have to switch out some stuff to not just waste all that crit for nothing, so my advice is to always sim your character and keep your crit cap in mind. still working on getting my cthun dagger.. seen it once and didnt get it, already got my kingsfall so im really hoping it will drop finally after all there months :(

Thoughts on 5 set T2.5 and 4 set T3? The guaranteed crit from the T3 8 set bonus is nice, but the 15% increased damage to Eviscerate is in my opinion much better when your crit's on Sinister Strike are almost all the time.

4 piece t3 sims higher than 5 piece 2.5, youre getting energy restored every ss crit which is far superior to a 15% evis bonus

@@yeee321 I actually meant having both 4 set T3 with 5 set T2.5 rather than having the full 8 set T3. So having the Bonescythe Gloves, Bracers, Waistgaurd, and Ring mixed with the T2.5 set.

the best option you have is to sim it, i do however think its a dps loss from using t3 with some off pieces from aq depending on your faction and weapon choice. cause i cant for the life of me imagine that noone thought of simulating that already and if it was superior it would be widely known at this point. people have been theory crafting this game for over 15 years

rogue was still good even in tbc i think. if i remb right i only swapped to main druid mid wotlk as i was just sick of playing rogue at that point.

they were great in pvp but not great in pve untill later patches, like t5 and forward

Hey, Frost! Excellent content, as always. You know, life is funny. I knew that when Classic WoW was finally released, I wouldn’t have the time, energy, or desire to raid, and I haven’t (with one exception). I did promise myself, however, that I would get a full set of (non-raid) gear for all of my characters. My main is a human combat sword rogue, and she has the full Darkmantle (Dungeon 2 or “Tier 0.5”) set, plus all professions and skills maxed. As far as I am concerned, that character is “done,” although I use her every day for farming, helping other guildies, etc. I’m completely content with that character’s progression and have no desire to progress her further. But... damn, that Naxx set sure looks good. 😕

Strikers Mark has the hit baybee, and full bonescythe+world buffs can lead hitting crit cap anyway. Nerubian Slavemaker, y'all can have it...if it drops. ;)

@@yoremothra9838 im surprised not more people think about the crit cap, as a dagger rogue or if youre horde you wanna use the belt of never ending agony instead of t3, and as ally swords you want the t2.5 chest piece instead of t3 for that specific reason. wasted crit is a shame

Cause im pretty sure 90% of the people are burned out from classic, farming gold and getting worldbuffs 24/7

Must not be very good rogues that you've faced. Even with swords if you have engineering you can easily 100% lock and the enemy player will never be able to do anything

@@Ithrial420 never played Alliance, that windfury proc does help sword rouges but not enough.
