This one sparks so much nostalgia and touches me. It just feels like Linkin Park has released another song and I am enjoying a new song of my favourite band. Discovering this version brought back many memories. Of the times I have seen them on stage and also the times I have sought for refuge in their songs and Chester's lyrics. Finding this song gave me major flashbacks, makes me sad that Chester passed but also happy and grateful for the music he left behind and for the possibilities I had to see them live. Forever grateful. LP's songs made Chester truly immortal. And guess who will annoy the sh*t out of his kids one day by playing that "weird, old, loud music" all the time at home.

I never listened to rock music much. I've always been into country, rap, r&b, soul, chill slow lofi... But my ex was inlove with this band... I still know every word to every song to every album, up until 2012 (thats the year we broke up) He would sing these albums over and over.. When chester died, even though we weren't together I still remembered his phone number by heart and I had to ask him if he was okay.. I still wonder how Chester dying affected him, because of how much he adored the entire band.. The countless hours he would throw headphones in... When he would clean his house he put them on a speaker doc, when I helped him move from his house to mine... When we would go anywhere in the car he had their CD's.. Their music was quite literally the sound track to his everyday life... We were together for 2 years. And the music never stopped. I never minded it, because it was really like an extention of him... That was 9 years ago now.. But I still think about him sometimes. And I genuinely hope that he's alright whenever he hears these guys come on 😔

I don't think it's about "having the right" to make different music, it's about what people are into and what they aren't. it's just taste. and we lash out at the things that we don't like or that surprise us in a bad way, which doesn't make it right, but it's just the way entertainment is sometimes. people like what they know, and when they don't get it they're primed to be angry. at first. we'll get there.

Oh man... what an awesomely depicted mv to represent amazing lyrics and tune. The lyrics give hope of understanding, that sorry will be enough. The video shows us a child who hopes it will be enough and a wife who is weary and wary of understanding. How often are we "sorry for now" and take for granted that the people we love will always understand? How often are we too reluctant to open our hearts to hope and give someone who's sincerely sorry a second chance? All this swept through me while watching and listening.

I like this. Haven't had the heart to listen to Linkin Park lately, but I think it's time. This was cathartic. Hope it was for the band members too.

Same, I was 13 when I heard the news and I didn't leave my room until school started up again. They were and still are my all time favorite band 🖤

I was 10 when Hybrid Theory came out. Linkin Park quickly became my brother and I's musical obsession. Reanimation is still in my top 4 favorite albums. A regret of mine was not seeing Linkin Park with my brother before Chester's death.

I didn’t know Chester nor do I pretend too, but he seemed to have this ora that has stayed with us, it almost like he has never left us, even when time passes us by, his voice has this ability to bring us back to the time he was with us.

@albanrebuffel23702 жыл бұрын
so you don't understand who are Linkin Park and what Chester became when he became older. Cause Linkin Park at these time was on another music style and if you can't just understand them, understand this you're wrong Linkin Park is rock metal etc and sorry for you pop etc like one more like, if you don't like just keep it up on your little brain. And try to think.

@@albanrebuffel2370 I agree with Anthony. I like One More Light, but it doesn't sound like Linkin Park.

You obviously doesn’t know what Linkin Park is truly about. It’s about taking a genre of music and making it better than it was before. And they have done this with every album they have made. Almost every band today is influenced by Linkin Park.
@64CSAR2 жыл бұрын
@@albanrebuffel2370 First off your ignorant reply is barely coherent. Second, just because I think that this remix sounds more like the old Linkin Park that I’m used to that I am wrong? My guy you got me fucked up. Just because I prefer a different sound doesn’t mean I’m wrong. Their new music sounds more pop to me so when I say it sounds more like their old stuff I’m referring to the more rock side. As far as “your little brain” comment, you’re literally a part of the problem that LP is against so congratulations you played yourself.
