​@@Marthyrichardson I have this discussion with my boyfriend frequently about essentially: at what point do you transition from being trained to think and behave a certain way to being fully responsible for your actions and thoughts. I personally think McKay had that turning point the day he left his father's home. He could've easily had that turning point beforehand but the pressure of being monitored by his father suppressed his critical thought potential. But he's out! He's not under thas man's thumb anymore and he KNOWS ITS WRONG. But he continues to try to fit in with these toxic narcissists. I think part of it is being an athlete, it's like a cult at some schools. They want you to feel like a man's man and get your adrenaline going and make you pumped to be a macho man. It sucks to have the world telling you horrible things but women literally get shit on no matter what they do and they deal with the pressure. Maybe not well, but they cope. It's doable for men, too. In other words, I agree.

I just want to say that you have some of the best content on here. Your thrifting videos are obviously bomb I don’t have to explain that... but a lot of reaction channels just sit there w/ no expressions and if they don’t have many followers it’s usually low quality. I’m an Aries too. As frightening and unbelievable as it may sound, my high school experience was very similar to this. We were reckless and crazy, there are so many things I did that I can’t believe I did and got away with. I’m lucky I wasn’t killed or died, I didn’t get away completely clean though. I did experience a lot of trauma and had things happen that have not only changed my life but continue to affect me to this day. I’m 40 now and my daughter is almost 13, although she’s mentally more like eighteen, but I would never let her do the things my parents let me do. I’d never give her the opportunity to get into the kinds of things I got into. I’ve been extremely open with her about my life and experiences and how everything I did, every decision I made has affected me. This show is fantastic and feels extremely personal. I can’t wait for season two.

Sigh, remember when we thought this show was gonna be a thing before the truth came crashing down? The actors, cinematographers and editors deserve all the praise because they had to fight against some seriously effed up writing and directing to make this first season as good as it was. I enjoyed it at the time, but I hope it doesn't come back. We've lost Angus Cloud, may he rest in peace-- Barbie Ferreira left the show, and the other female characters were destroyed by Levinson's writing in the second season.
