I'd be very careful picking up a used Nissan. I expect it to have lots of hidden problems like CVT failures. Our local CarMax dealer had two whole rows of used Nissans (some were Infinitis) and almost got sucked into buying it with their attractive prices.

@@avishshah9023 KItty corner to that machine (at springdale and westminster) there is a lot where a supermarket was. It was an Alpha Beta decadres ago that went vacant after Albertson's bought Skaggs and already had a store about a mile away at Westminster and Goldenwest/Knott. Some independent ethnic supermarkets have tried to operate in the location over the years but nothing has remained for more than a few years. That lot where the carvana is used to be a used to have a couple of restaurants but it's a pain to get in an out of due to how the freeway overpasses have evolved. With the recent widening of the 405, that In'n'out the host mentioned will probably start facing significant challenges. I'll be surprised if the Westminster Cafe next door to it survives much longer.

@@avishshah9023 It's totally wasteful, because it only holds 31 cars which would easily fit in the lot already. That corner used to have two buildings and a parking lot that held 150 cars that was not even packed tightly. You can look on Google maps. With only one building, they could park 250 cars there.

I think both ways of getting your car is exciting, 1 where the Carvana delivery truck comes to your home. 2 And of course the Carvana Vending Machine (CVM) lol. Well you mention something very important which is buying a car sight unseen. If I’m buying a car, I’d like to inspect it before I buy it. If you’re creating a system like this, you better give the customer a grace period after picking thier car from the vending machine in which they can return the car for a full refund if they don’t want it for whatever reason.

They give you 7 days. I purchased a car from them 2 years ago and had it delivered directly to my driveway. I just purchased another car from them today and will be picking it up from one of these vending machines this weekend. They put all the details about the car on their app. They are amazing from start to finish. No pushy sales person trying to up charge. You say “no” to an add on and it takes you to the next question.
