Fantastic video, Vanessa. Secrets is really becoming a resort leader . I think the weigh-in is a good idea. After a few recent flights, I've noticed how heavy some passengers and flight attendants are. I'm in favor of safety first. If bags get weighed, why not people, especially since their is such a variety of weights. As long as they don't charge people more as they do with overweight bags. The economy did not affect my plans this year. I'm looking forward to your next video.

Yes, the pandemic and inflation have impacted my travel plans. Cruise lines are implementing new policies to charge customers more after they entice them with low booking fares. RCL charging $200 per person to use the water park at Coco Cay, their private island, is an example. Forced tipping on cruise lines is another example. In my view, a tip should be earned for good service, not a supplement for low wages.

Thanks for the content. Love hearing the news. By the standards used to qualify "vacation", we definitely spent $2800. We went to Chicago (a little over a hundred miles) to a White Sox game and a music festival and probably spent $500 on alcohol alone. (4 people x 2 days). Our son lives in Vegas and we went to see the new grandbaby in March. We do plan to go back to the Dominican Republic in March 2024.

Hi Vanessa!!! I’m getting ready to go on Allure of the Seas on a western Caribbean cruise. That being said, we have to fly to Galveston and flights have been terrible lately so next year we’re looking forward to doing a lot of three and four day cruises out of Port of Los Angeles. Of course we will do one week at Beloved, can’t miss that! Thanks for another great and informative video ❤️✈️

Hi Vanessa! So extreme airfare prices from Northern California to Jamaica had me look at other options. Surprisingly i found a great deal to Aruba! We stayed at The Ritz & Marriott Stellaris. I see now why you love Aruba! Definitely going back! I am leaving this Friday to a NYC to Bermuda MSC cruise. I am cheating on my NCL brand so hopefully it will be good. So excited to finally see the Big Apple!! Got a great rate on my non stop flight to JFK. Good informational video!😊

I am not bothered with the weigh-ins and thankfully my travel plans were not affected either, we went to New york in June and Paris in August had a great time at both cities. I traveled as planned. I did not make it to an all inclusive-- yet, this year. But I have actually increased my travel to more foreign destinations like Japan, a place that has recently fully opened. During and after the pandemic all inclusives were a safe travel bubble, but now that the world is open they are lower on my list.

I would love to have airlines charge by the pound (person and luggage). Skinny customers could bring more luggage for free. (I am overweight.). I also travel a lot.

I would absolutely refuse to be weighed as I consider that an invasion of privacy. Planes have been flying many years without that knowledge and they don't need it now.

What about if it’s a small plane? I had to do it on a small plane into the middle of a country to see waterfalls. I think it was a 10 person plane,

I’ve always joked that they should charge for overweight PEOPLE instead of bags. When I started flying you were allowed 2 x70 lbs bags each. You will never get me to believe it’s about safety instead of greed when they charge for all your bags now yet don’t give the people a second glance at any size

Airline weight ins dont bother me....airlines weigh your luggage to charge you more as a passenger....maybe we the passangers can charge the airlines for our weight info 🤣 Defently will weigh more coming back off vacations then going 😂 Thanks for the info Vanessa.....another great video.....safe travels everyone

The Secrets Resort playa mujeres Cancun is a really old property, food not good at all. Service was excellent. Would not recommend!!
