I have a vertical line that is always on ( don't know how i managed to put on my screen ) that shows the depth at a certain distance from my centerline. What does it do, and how do i get rid of it ? Also, do you have a video explaining the actual distance away from your boat it is!? I know the depth of water you're in and what the range lines say are not correct. I'm assuming that line is showing me the true distance, but I don't know!!???

Contour lines are displayed on my echomap 73sv on same lake.

The controls on echo map uhd2 are different. They don’t have on screen control option.

When Garmin did the firmware Update, they Fucked up all of the videos and tutorials on KZbin, they are now useless!

Bass Pro still has the 106SV on sale for $999.00 and the 126SV for $1,499.00. That is half price on these units. Now is the time to buy them. That is what I did so get them while you can. I am going to get another 106SV for a spare. Tight Lines !!

I just had a new 106SV and 126SV Ultra installed on my Bass Cat and did the updates. Do I need to leave the micro SD card in the units all the time? I just switched over to Garmin from Lowrance so still figuring things out. My Lowrance unit which was an HDS 10 Gen2 I left the Navionics card in all the time. Thanks for any help. Bill

Great content I’m interested to know why you suggest the heading line? When I’m waypoints & I pick a waypoint & select “Go to waypoint” the unit puts a pink line on the bow of my boat in the direction i should head to in order to arrive at the waypoint. In the past I’ve used a the heading line & like you say in video if you map orientation isn’t set up correctly the boat spins around at low speed making the map very confusing to follow. If you’re not 100% sure which direction is north it can make this very confusing. I mainly fish in the sea in Australia & where I’m located we have two gulfs which the tide can rip though when they start to flowing. Another factor to content with is the wind direction. Quite often when fishing we have wind against the tide & that heading line on front as boat is spinning around can make it really hard to get the boat right on the mark. Don’t get me wrong you have a great channel very interesting to follow with your tips. I wonder if a the steady cast sensor would help with accuracy in getting at precise anchoring accuracy on the spot.

I have no intentions of using Livescope or FFS. For me it is not worth the extra 2K. I will not fish tournaments with a guy who is using FFS all day. I dealt with this a few times in BFL's and I got backended all day and I was pissed and let the guy know about it. For a weekend angler I think it is a big investment for little or no return. New anglers coming into the sport need to learn how to actually fish and not depend on electronics.

I just purchased the ECHO UHD 93SV + transducer. Making sure I learn as much as I can before I set it up on the boat.
