Where setting slow emotion z8 ?

The f1.8S has a tiny bit of coma at the edges/corners, that's about it.

My z26mm is a fantastic lens. The image quality is great. I have not noticed any audible noise from it. I will have to check it with some video recording.

just watched this again for the 2nd or 3rd time. I have a chance to buy a 6mo old 600Z f4 at a great price. any change to your thinking? [I have the 800 & 600PF now, and the 100-400]

My main gripe about this 180-600 is the inconsistent AF, and the tendency to drift in and out of focus no matter what setting you apply in stills photography. Video fare better. I am about to give up on this lens after it has repeatedly FAILED in the most CRUCIAL moment. And this happens on more than one occasion. Besides the lens is soft. What did Nikon produce such a sub pars lens? Regret changing from Sony 200-600 A92 to Z8+180-600.

This is heavily biased as you would expect - it's more than good enough for pro work, don't waste your money on the Nikon if you need a fast 85mm. Only extreme pixel peepers would ever tell the difference!

Awesome walk around lens, and I’m loving shooting with it. Was lucky enough to find this as it’s backordered and even being resold used for more than the retail price. Awesome lens

Excellent review, Ricci, this camera is perfect; 24 MP is good enough for me as I do edit my pics on a desk top that has a Sandybridge CPU: yes that old. Smaller the megapixel count the lesser time it takes to edit and export , couple that to the small form factor, great EVF, and all the features it's max bang for buck. I use a camera strap so that door getting in the way is no big deal for me.

Dear Nikon, please give us 35 50 85 1.4s as light as possible in S line first. if possible in plena seres without quality compromise. We cant afford ur 1.2s nor they weigh lighter to work. These non Sline standard is the job of 3rd parties

Very nice comparison review. I own the amazing 20mm 1.8 S and am scouting for a 14-30 f4 lens to go along with it. Now, maybe my scouting will halt. I see nothing bad about the 20 1.8 - mine makes daylight out of darkness. Each time I use it, day or night, I am solid pleased with the images. Thanks, I enjoy your wonderful vids.

Thank you very much! I was looking for this comparison, between this cameras! I hoped to see much more difference between z50 and z 6. But actually z50 picture with extremal high iso looking very good in comparison with z 6. Even more we can remove practically any noise on the extreme high iso mode. Some unicue technics of removing noise are exists!

Reminiscing in late 2024, the appeal of DSLR has hit its nostalgia for me, I love my z8 but I have great f mount lenses which feel nicer on DSLR.
