I just started NMS and one important thing that never got mentioned in the game and not in this video is the guardians, those flying sentinel robots on sime planets. I thougt they are evil by default but saw in some video they only attack you when you mine/take ressources on that planet or when they are nearby. I didnt know that, game never tells you. I saw one, thougt its evil attacked it, until more and more came and i couldnt do anything, not outrun them , too strong to fight... i managed to do my mission which was getting infos/stuff out of a space station and thougt i am safe in my spaceship/ in orbit but they even attack in space with ships. So i killed the ship and managed to lightspeed away... this is definitely a story i will remember, i was at 4 out of 5 dtone stars (like gta stars)... i managed to escape but sad the game doesnt tell you. Now i know for the future.

I played this game on release and quit because there was nothing to do. I have been wanting to try it again since i heard good things but wanted to wait until they were done adding new content to experience everything at once, but... it doesn't look like they will ever stop. The content just keeps on coming. The people working on this game are awesome, i guess i just have to jump into it huh

ye the game is pretty impressive, but without combat or a good incentive to explore planets or to even just build bases, I get bored of it very quickly every time :c But I do come back to it from time to time, fire up a new playthrough and hope I find something that keeps me in. That's usually hunting for money and finding a nice ship :D

Many options! Here's an idea of the gameplay loop. Build bases - on land in the sky or underwater. Earn money - through selling scrapped ships, bounty missions, capitalising on trade routes. Spend money - Grow your fleet of ships, get a great freighter and upgrade your combat, movement and systems. Work through the story - uncover some secrets behind the game lore while doing all of the above! Not to forget multiplayer. It's not a hand held, guided experience like perhaps Starfield is. You make it what you want, more like Minecraft. (Excuse that comparison)

I like them both but have complaints about both of them. No man's sky at least let's you play how you want as in not removing cheat glitches. Omfg finally I love your mind stating (sorry forgot exactly what you said and on lunch break so I'll make this quick) but "how far no mans sky has come AND how far it has to go. I'm seeing to many people saying it's perfect now and it's been so long they can stop, like no bro what hello games is doing is the most beautiful act to any video game as well as doing what all major development studios don't GIVE BACK. @@Princerambo123 it can definitely still be fun. What I found to be the most fun if you’re on pc is to use a jet pack mod that allows you to fly a lot longer and further, to the point that I’m fighting in the air more than on the ground. That extra mobility helps make up a lot for the shooting mechanics imo. But I can understand just wanting to wait.

I had been eyeing this game since it was announced. Almost bought it multiple times, but didn't... Until the Worlds Part 1 update. My goodness, this game is amazing. I've only had it for a month now, but I've already put over 100 hours into it. My only real complaint is the inventory management. It sucks sooooo much.... haha. To be honest, it isn't a bad game...but for 7 years of development, massive budget and resources it was disappointing. I brought up the comparison mainly to show just how good No Man's Sky is! Starfield is an okay benchmark at the end of the day - it has it's strong points and it's flaws.

Thank you for coming back to NMS. It really is something special and I can't wait for the second half of this update. As for losing live support NMS got this graphic update from the light no fire development. I imagine both games share fundamental software where both benefit from further updates. I'm hoping the engine for world diversity in light no fire will touch NMS too.

This game is good for sure but there are still glaring little things that need to be either addressed or redone and there are a few other elements of the game that i hope the developers work on I will say in order of what i think would make the biggest differences Difficulty- game is too easy, would prefer more difficulty and higher rewards over easy and grin Scale - per system scale geels wrong,it feels large yet small, planets should be further apart and travel between them should see you travel thrpugh more clusters of astroid, derelict, nebula and so on as well as a few random points of interest, this game for how big it is,doesnt feel big,i like the idea and plotting a course and actually having to wait and think about what your doing, possibly doing micro management while in space travel, studying the galaxy map, logs or what ever,i want to feel like space is big, vast and if i want to go to planet that really sparks my interests then i need to think about fuel and time and this will push me to really upgrade my ship Ground terrain generation variety, need more types of rocky surfaces, cliffs, mountain ranges, slopes and hills Caves should have alot more of those crystals than on the terrain surfaces making it more of a requirement to locate deep caverns Staff hiring for freighter, inventory management so you can pay to have it sorted and staff to do repairs on acquired star ships as the items become available in the inventory Terrain vs base buildings, needs to be fixed as we all know,i would opt for a smaller land mass area to build a base as long as its terrain was not ever automatically generated after time Warp drive graphics need an overhaul,i want it to look like i am actually flying through space, the stars need to look smaller and better (duller and brighter varieties) .. portals should look lile the way warp travel curtently looks but a new set of visuals for space flight and warp drive that looks less colourful and cartoon like and quite frankly cheap and fake Day/night cycles - would lile to see more variety and planets with perpetual day or night,i also would lile to see some restraint with the wild colours used at random for planet skylines and grass Sealife - the oceans are amazing looking, the developers have done such a great job of how it looks but it has alot of untapped potential Lore - developers need to employ someone that has one job, lore, where elderscrolls have books,i would love to find personal mini dec recorders, filled with stories and things from the past, this would make the game feel more rich, maybe you read one about reference to a certain system or planet that you may be able to locate and so on,things lule diaries of fleep captains and so on Music,i would love to have a paid for dlc for a large music expansion, all of music writen specifically for this game and for its different species of life,i would want it to be a paid dlc because i truly want to give a little something back to hello games for all the hard work they have done but i want the music in game, not beat bytes and not steam sound tracks This game has come a long way, there is a solid game here now,an amazing foundation for something even greater,in the future i would like to see a content expansion dlc so i hope they keep building on everything

I like how much you're shitting on starfield in this video.. Its like the designed starfield for the niche 0.0001% of people that only care about realistic, baron planets.. How they could think they'd get away with all the loading screens when NMS has been around for years, is beyond my understanding.. Crazy that hello games does procedural generetated better than Bethesda, that have been doing it for decades.... The only two things I feel are lacking from no man sky are: Ship variety. We need wayyyyy more types of ships. I know there's a couple locked behind specific galaxies but even so. There's very few in each class... Yes, variables do help but it still feels like if I'm going to the nexus, im seeing a lot of the same ships. Second is the MMO feel. This is very subjective. Because of how long the games been out, I am starting to find starsystems already officially discovered by other players. Which is awesome!!! I just wish the galaxies were scaled down a bit to the point where you're constantly bumping into other players. "Clans" can control specific parts of space, etc. i know with the expeditions you all start in the same area so you're going to see others. I just want this in the full experience.

@@MrKained123 I completely agree! No man's sky really does do a lot of things better than Starfield. More of an MMO feel would be great, perhaps a set of star systems that are designed for MMO like gameplay...along with the server upgrades to make it possible!

@@AverageGameReviews Yeah, they pretty much already have the framework with galaxies and expeditions. They could do it ark style. Spawn a new galaxy. After it's aged to a certain point.. refresh.
