Lane’s arc was so awful. Realistically, there was a decent chance she wouldn’t make it big, and as much as I despised Zach, I could sort of believe the suffocation of her home environment would lead her to seek any outlet, no matter how low the bar. But the twins? Are you kidding me. Just lazy writing.

The problem with legacies was Julie plec her writing was just terrible and Alaric should have not been added to the show his character made no sense getting involved in hope's life,Caroline was barely in the show the show lacked star power i believe some characters should have not been killed off in the originals like Hayley was supposed to be a good addition to the show same with Rebecca and Freya yhey were suppose to get more screentime in the show and Elijah should have been there to act has the protective uncle towards hope, Klaus should have not been killed off probably daggered or trap in another realm with the hollow while the others find ways to get him free . It's would have been a better way to keep Klaus alive without even being in the show to make a comeback at the later end of the season for his family and daughter while Hayley would be there for hope and Rebecca and Freya would also be very useful in protecting hope. Watching Klaus, Elijah and Hayley die in the originals was the downfall of legacies because those three would have been a great addition to the show.

1:16:05 the crazy thing is this is not true. Pretty much everyone in her life pushes her to be her best. The only thing is that so many events happened to build for her to hear it. It just so happens that when she was ready Jess said it. Saying that Jess was the only one who pushed her to be better is actually insane and very discrediting to everyone else in her like.

I can agree with some of the things Rory's made some mistakes with; but it annoys me so much when people talk about when Rory missed Lorelai's Grad like she did it on purpose. Yes, it wasn't great that she skipped school for Jess, but that was all she intended to do; skip school. She didn't make it to Lore's grad because of the traffic, or whatever reason the bus driver was told to hold off. other than that, I can agree that Rory isn't the perfect angel she was told she was all her life, which made her relatable and more human. Also, I find it hilarious that I had this playing at 1.6 speed and I didn't notice much of a difference in the clips😭 Also, I personally loved April, I just hated how Luke handled that situation. Lorelai and Anna showed that they could agree or at least relate with each other. I was just that Luke didn't "allow" them to meet and talk through the situation.

I think the reason there was always a “boiling kettle” behind Luke and Lorelai was because the show writers couldn’t let them just be happy once they were together. They were not perfect, but most of their issues felt (to me) like uncharacteristic decisions made for the sake of plot drama.

I think Lane and Mrs Kim’s relationship is relatable to ppl with strict parents bc my sister and I had to sneak things around like hiding a cordless phone my sister purchased since we weren’t allowed to be on the phone for too long. My mom was sneaky herself with trying to catch us in the act like when she got home from work, she’d feel the insides of my sisters shoes to see if they were warm or not 😂

Lauren was so fun, and, yeah even the fat jokes feel balanced because she takes no crap, and that are mean superficialteenager, so, it makes sense. And that she gets till taken serious. Is it a blessing or a curse she wasnt in season 3 givenshe is great but could have become worse like other characters?? See how you can do that, cough cough, #justiceformercedes.

I think Shue is there the satire and earnest clashed a lot, ook i just will give the benefit that him blackmailing Finn, his obsessive inaproviate behaviour and his imaturity was so much because if satire. Its just i dont think ther isnt agnowledhging enough an making him, well deal that with in a way its agnowledged and , making clear, not anymore. Or how that was wrong of him? Because its the worst case of i hope satire creepy teacher and the earnest, clashing. And Suue is an entertaining antagonist with layers thats less problematic, Will is meant to be an inspiring teacher, his satirical highly peoblematic just is worse dealt not great with? Also Jane lynch is a treasure. And a reason why Sue is better as character, she own being a not good person, Will is very "nice guy" shown which is way more uncomfortable and real in a not good way. Will i dont think owns up or is confronted in show with his bad acts to not make him less of a "nice guy".

Has anyone brought up the older mrs.kim who makes sn appearance in ONE episode (lanes wedding) where we see Mrs.Kim and Lane have alot in common when it comes to rebellion.

I grew up way too broke to think Lorelei and Rory’s narrative about growing up in a garden shed was anything but self-inflicted slumming. She didn’t get kicked out for being pregnant and have to live in poverty, she lived at home with Rory for almost a year before leaving to “do it all on her own” with the knowledge that she could go home whenever she wanted.

It’s kinda sad how Nowadays the kids and teens don’t have spectacular shows like these and all the other ones

With legacies I really feel like season one was fun, an unexpected way to go. Like Full On magical. After that the stories do drag, and season three is a hot mess, I know it's cause the pandemic. Finally season four was great, until the gods stuff. I like the Aurora stuff in there, but it really takes away from what it could have been. Also the guy who played Ken also played Will in H2O Just Add Water, and I can't see him as a true king of the gods character lol. Maybe Haydes or Apollo, but not Zeus himself. It's shame Josie also just disappears because her actress left the show. Such an important character just gone, like Rafael. I do still turn it on once in a while though, it's got some good humor and Lizzie's arch is the best in the show, agreed there.

I do think Elena was sired to Damon at first, and that was broken when she turned her humanity off. The big drama was after she had turned it back on no one knew if she would still be sired or if she would even still love him. But she did, and then well, you know the rest lol.

Watching Gilmore girls is like finding an amazing Indie Rockband and then watching them commercialize more and more with every album they release bc of increased mainstream success. The show lost its feel good charm to me and the writers were inconsistent with characters for the sake of creating drama. They learned the same lessons over and over. Hardly any character development at all

chad michael murray probably has the most punchable face ever... i propably would've liked lucas character more if i liked the actor which sounds stupid but it's hard to have sympathy for him.

I think people forget before Jess there was that kiss with Tristan. She never talked about it with Dean, as I recall. That made me deslike her character a lot
