I remember some Gamespot hands-on reviewers made their review of SXSG thinking it's still the 2010s. It still feels like a fever dream that Sonic characters explore mundane humane themes like family, love, loss, trauma, betrayal and so on. Fans were asking for this for like..15 years? More? It's probably the first time in videogames since 2001? Adventure era. Idw and Archie comics don't count. It's just comics :0 Crazyyyyy. Honestly i really like how they have made Shadows levels, it feels like a proper "Boost Platformer" rather than a "Boost Game". I hope they stick to this design in the future games

Nah even though I’m one of the people in the sonic community that genuinely likes Infinite to the point where he’s my favorite character, I have to agree to Forces being dogshit. But after seeing Frontiers I’m not worried much, especially after seeing a sneakpeek of this clean game. This is more peak then Forces ever was, and I genuinely pray to the lord above that Infinite’s character will be redeemed.
