Fortunately if you make a safe room with this stuff in your home, most boys you would worry about coming in have pistols or pistol ar's. So 1/4" would still work.

I just received mine from Amazon. It came with a 1/4" blade. I used it and was unhappy with the cut. It wasn't smooth. It was like a wash board. I thought it probably was a cheap blade and ordered a higher quality 3/16 inch 10 TPI blade. I installed it and I still get the wash board effect on my cuts. I have tried different blade tensions and blade positions on the wheel and still not change. Do you have any helpful suggestions?

That’s a trash round for personal carry. Low capacity, firearms have to be bigger do to bullet diameter. Recoil is too much on a small frame, large frame pistols are super heavy and still typically only only 6-10 rounds. Bullet velocity is absolutely terrible, lots of evidence showing velocity penetration falls off massively. .45 typical can’t punch into a car at distance that many other pistol cartridges can, and a few other technicality’s I won’t name

I’ve got a beretta 71 jaguar in .22LR that my grandfather bought at the PX and carried during his last tour of Vietnam . He was an intelligence sergeant and was tasked with taking intel reports from 1st Cav back to Saigon . He had to dress in civilian clothes and many times traveled with media or medics and was not supposed to be armed . The prospect of this scared him so he bought the little jaguar to carry concealed . It is my favorite gun I own . It looks nearly identical to the 84 bb except single stack and smaller

I'm using one now and that belt drive is a piece of junk. Binds on a whim. The performance upgrade adds two stepper motors (one for each lead screw), removes the belts, adds new control board, and switches. That will likely fix it and makes the feed rate 40% faster...so they say

Well, I just recently got a bit of plate cut out from the Steel Plate Processing a 50 mil thick plate ( 2inches thick steel plate ) and shot it with many rifles with 223, 30.06 and 308. It only just only put dents on the surface and even I used armour Peircing black tip bullet at it and it still did not go through with the 30.06 armour Peircing it only went halfway through at Best roughly the core of the bullet got stuck in the plate
@beurownboss15543 ай бұрын
Dang 2” thick, bet that weighs a ton. I was on here trying to figure out how thick I need for some up-armor on my humvee. I’m thinking 1/2” is as thick as I could reasonably go. Seeing now how easy 1/4 was to cut through maybe 1/2 would be a waste of time and money

@@beurownboss1554 my thickest steel slab I have at home is 3 inches thick Steel Plate and I use it to smash up rocks on it and it’s just grade 350 steel and it’s pretty strong on the backside of it. I have shot rifles at that too and all it does is just leave surface dents between a quarter of an inch to 3/8 of an inch deep and that’s it you will not be able to put any handgun or rifle through 3 inches of steel
