I just love that Combat Mission gives you the option of how you want to play! Sometimes I fancy WEGO, other times I want to do RTS mode. So yeah for me the biggest appreciation is the option to choose.

I Just found this campaign, I see its a moded game, but it looks prety nice, and I like that you are exporting some battles to Fog2, also I like the fact that you play few turns, and then provide some briefing, that makes following the battles less tedius than seeing the whole battle.

Perfect Video, to explain why some people like this system. Its similar for me.

Wow! Josey, just found your channel the other day and oh what a treat it is. Thank you. I have been a fan of Combat Mission for 20 years. Have all three of the original games, Beyond Overlord, Barbossa to Berlin and the Mediterranean Campaign one. Great game! Regarding this specific scenario/mission, agreed that once your two Stummels were neutralized it was the beginning of the end, but… it seems like the Allies points seemed a bit at an advantage with the AirPower. It was purely a miracle for you that they didn’t strafe your forces twice, instead of the Allies by mistake. If that had happened, I can’t image how much more worse it would have been for the Axis forces. Either way, fantastic game and presentation of it. Thanks again Josey.

Very late to the party, but wow, great work Josey. Love your AAR style. Like watching a fascinating documentary. Never heard of the town Ugly before. Was that made up for the scenario, or is it an historical action?

This is one of those scenarios where I really wish the soviets had more artillery. Feels like so many scenarios only give you mortars which is strange considering how much arty the soviets used.

Welcome back. Having played many empires campaigns id suggest you build some yellow. Income, buildings to increase your revenues. To settle the new territories takes time, but building purple, culture buildings will decrease their revolt factor. At the beginning I would have kept your preceptor house and built an income building to off set its cost. Your new northern territory needs food production building. More food increases your population, allows more building slots and you can get more armies. Never seen this mod, I will have to look for it. Is it on Slitherine or a few good men?

It's quite disorienting when you zoom in and move the camera around on the battlefield that much. Spatial awareness is very different when you're playing and when you're just a spectator.
