This has to be like the best tutorial ever. Simple yet informative and thorough. I feel like some sort of guru after following this.

Inspired by C64 game Nexus maybe? :)

Lol I haven't played it. But I was going for sleek, easy to see, and simple to make. Also I wanted to mimic sheet music

@SpaceDodo search it up. Muisc is almost exactly similar.

This is a very useful one. What that helped me when it comes to looping audio that doesnt have a proper built in loop from the DAW. You can have the trigger repeat, have the period set to the seconds output and just make sure the beat multiplier lines up how you need it. 16 measures (16x4=64), etc. Gets funky with 6/8 and so on, just need to do a bit more math and change the division too.

Hey man, saw you meta sound content, loved it. Is there any way we can connect? Like on discord or something. I am a VR developer but recently started to learn about meta sound and there are very less tutorials for car engine in meta sound, especially an electric car sound, you seem to have good knowledge about it, hope you can help me with this. Cheers!

I added the channel discord to the description. There's a metasounds channel there. Hopefully I can be of help!

I totally get the art thing with videography.. I never considered myself an artist, I'm a technician, as a camera operator I can capture something I can make sure it looks good, but I'm a recording technician... The directorial process of of getting things out of the scene, the art direction in making the scene.. That's that's a skill set I just don't have. But if you put me in front of art, I sure can record it.. One of the reasons I really love doing live music.

You kind of big light in filmography.. depending on what set you're working on and and what you're doing.. like the whole process of like having 15 million tree branches and pieces of foam and and paper on c-stands rights outside of the shot.. That's that's kind of like baking the light lol, or at least it would be if you could bake it.. which would be nice lol.

I think one of the frustrating things about game making is.. there's a lot of people that want to make games because they like games.. and then there's people like me that want to make games because they hate games.. and channels like game developers toolkit are some of The thought processes that I think hold so many things back, and I think that industrialization has hurt the game industry as much as it's helped it.

Hi I just bought a used model for 330 euros, a little damages but works fine. Now I just understood that this camera is quite old. So I am a bit worried, was a good purchase? Back in hight school I like to make short movie, so i was thinking to try to do something little and alone again, I invest some money but I hope was worth for this camera...Because looking online yes someone says that quality image dsrl o mirrorless can offer better quality.

Most people have positive attitude towards it at least or memory :) Most people I know "Yes, I've actually made it, so happy". Me saying to myself "cool story bro, do better!" Just recently thought I've never finished anything, then realised.... wait I have years ago at school, it was a homework. Basic AF with no art direction and story, but it worked, however as per usual started doing the homework few nights or even a night before deadline :) Classic Autistic behaviour.

People have always been yapping and forgetting about their intent 0.1 seconds later. All ages and groups. It takes something radical and serious inside a person to keep pushing consistently. Because as easy as it is for intelligent people to acquire new skills and information, gamedev will still be a daunting endeavor as you are making up a whole team all by yourself that usually consists of radically different personalities (like being an artist and programmer at the same time).

how can you press a button and talk to it? I was using convai but they want to much money, does this cost money per response from the AI , like is it limited? Most AI responses have a limit before they charge you more money
@SpaceDodo6 ай бұрын
We were using chat gpt. Yes it has a payment plan. The button press would just be mapping that action to the API call instead of using the overlap event. It's just a different even to listen to

@@SpaceDodo I started using lm studio and I was able to get it it work off my machine saving me money instead of wasting tokens and going to Google. I'm trying to use a speech to text plug-in to feed that as a string into chatgpt , saving money on the whisper tokens and such....I bought the plug-in yesterday still learning

So a few clips got a little off sync in the edit and i didn't catch it. It makes the AI seem a little laggy when it wasn't. It was about 1 second after i hit the trigger that they spoke with voices. Sorry. Thanks for watching! Links in description. I'll fix whatever obs setting made the audio slightly off

Game Development is hard to get into people are passive agressive about thier ablities, well you probably know how artsy and developers are no one will help you and you'll quickly found out your friends are lazy and won't help you with that or anything at all and won't change lol
