You could try watching a few of the recent 2023 or 2024 best of crashes. The fans don't stand so close as they do then. Drivers and the organizers complained. This will sound crazy, but the best version of this song is a LIVE version. Please check out the video from their 2016 concert in Pompeii. I know you will agree, that it's actually better in all aspects than the studio version. Also in that concert is Shine on You Crazy Diamond. Donald born in Passaic, NJ, Walter in Westchester, NY. They met as students at Bard College in upstate NY. Started their music careers in NYC, then moved to LA, then back to NYC.

Donald and Walter were heavily influenced by jazz from the 20s, 30, 40s and 50s, as well as R&B artists. Donald (keyboards) and Walter (bass and rhythm guitars) write all of the music and lyrics. After their first 2 albums, they quit touring and used the finest session musicians to record in studio, so every album has different players on them, all of them incredibly talented. This song featured Wayne Shorter on sax and Steve Gadd on drums. If you want to know more about SD, check out a documentary on You Tube called, "The Making of Aja." It's must see for all SD fans.

I'm not taking statistics on fatalities for the whole history of rallying, but let's say for the last 30 years only 4 fatalities in WRC among pilots. There are no statistics among spectators, but it is not as sad as it may seem at first glance. The biggest casualties were in the times of the so-called “group B”, because then the regulations were not so strict. And so rally cars are incredibly safe built, they are probably if not the safest cars in motorsport, but one of them and the coolest thing for me is that they are all legal for public roads, that is, if you buy one you can easily go and register it As for the cars, the toyota in the video are the white-black-red cars, the bluish ones are huyndai, ford also performs in wrc

Rally cars are homologated, so you actually can go to your dealership and buy one of those cars depending on where you live. A couple months ago I bought a GR Corolla, which is the North American equivalent of the GR Yaris shown in the video.

When they returned, they didn't receive the welcome they deserved. I hope they will finally make it home someday.

I’m lucky to live where the uk wrc stages are held in north wales. Absolute brilliant weekend of rallying and hearing them cars flying past you at incredible speeds and the smell when wet mud bakes onto the exhaust that another experience. Shame the WRC Wales has been cancelled because of Covid and we don’t know if it’s coming back but we still have national events here at llyn Brenig and Alwen stages. And one more thing about being a spectator once you start going to rally events you know where to stand on the stages. We normally work our way up the stages and when the cars come down you hear the whistles blow first and then you just stand behind a random tree or in a ditch and enjoy 😂 This sport is it’s the only racing event I go to where they drive the cars in between stages through the towns in public, you could be literally filling up your car at a petrol station and there’s a wrc rally car filling up there fuel too.

It's very a rare spectacle but there is still some in the wild that survived the consumer market, unfortunately a lot of people died thinking they could drive like a pro just by buying a pro car. I doubt any ever made it to the American markets due to the low volume made and vehicle import tax.
