Yeah had to look that up while editing the video. Still got it plumb, square, and level all without knowing the definition so all good.

@carolinahollow so you guys are relatively new at DIY? Cool. You'll learn something new and useful everyday. 👌

Make sure you mention that not all breakers are full protected and need a neutral. 95% of breakers I install residentially don't have a spot for neutral and it lands on the ground/ neutral bus. Definitely don't want to have a hot neutral on accident.

Good point, thanks for noting that!

All headphones have speakers. That's what makes them headphones. Headphones are not for hearing protection, although some models can have very modest isolation abilities. You're thinking of earmuffs.

Just get a yard stick. Put it up against the thing you're edging and paint along it moving it along as you go. Just wipe the excess paint from the stick. You will have a small gap, but it's uniform and doesn't look bad.

I have a large paint shield, but sometimes the wall isn't totally even so spots leak through. I guess nothing is perfect.

I saw this roll, not from temu, maybe 10 years ago, maybe even 15, in those TV selling channels. They were so good at the time. If they have to copy so badly..why not copy all of it WITH the good design where the paint goes evenly in the roll!? 😂
@carolinahollowАй бұрын
Dang, really? Because I liked the idea but man was the product badly done. I'll have to check if there's a decent brand still out there.

If you spill paint, let it dry. Cleanup is so much easier that way

And yet so mentally difficult to let spilled paint just sit there.

My brother's yard was so overgrown when he first bought it, that we killed 2 lawnmowers and a stihl weed eater with a metal blade. Tag Alders everywhere on his land. The metal blade did the trick.

What about dipping the terminals into saltwater? (In case you have no light bulb, let alone a resistor at hand.) I mean maybe that's also not that hard on the cap and you can see from the bubbles when it's over. (Hmm, one of the terminals will be a bit oxidized though, right?)

My older brother used a light bulb to discharge a capacitor when we were kids. It got bright and dimmed pretty quickly, about 3 seconds. The filament's resistance slowed the discharge, but now I wonder if maybe he should have used multiple bulbs for more resistance.
