are their any such things as Canadian Dividend Aristocrat ETF's??? probably not eh? 😮💨 When I compared all my SB Mutual Funds for my RDSP? The CDN Dividend Fund was BY-FAR the Safest of them all? in all the years the funds existed in every bad year? the CDN Dividend Fund had BY-FAR the smallest hit? and! BTW its preformed BY-FAR the best of all the funds over the long-term. Now I seen or read somewhere this has something to do with the fact that they are Dividend Funds/Paying Companies??? thats a Fact as far as the SB CDN Dividend Fund is concerned. I hope someday my situation will change that I can instead use ETF's instead? Man a CDN Dividend Aristocrat ETF would be amazing don't you think??? it would be excellent growth + VERY SAFE, like The Holy Grail! 😇 of investing you would think

Actually, BCE has the lowest debt level among big three if you use Debt to EBITDA ratio. i have never use Debt to Market Capital ratio cause when share price is down, the ratio drop too, but it doesn't mean so much for the company's operation. Also, I believe It's free cash flow will improve a lot once they slow down 5G investment and the interset rate decrease. I think it's perfect time to buy. never follow the crowd.

I think if we sell weekly covered calls, it may be considered as speculative and not as investments and the TFSA account may be tagged as non registered account and will be subject to taxes like a non-registered account. I'm not sure what is the trigger, meaning what is the minimum days you must keep an asset (Stock or options) to sell it without consequences on taxes. For monthly covered calls it should be safe, but dailies or weeklies we need to know what is the ARC law.

80% equities 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the current market situation as leading indicators predict a bullish S&P 500 by 2025, my only concern is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for maximum potential returns.

Agreed, investing with the help of an advisor did the trick for me in barely 5 years. I worked hard everyday as a teacher for 32 years and my salary was over 100k, enough to get me invested. I'm semi-retd today with nearly $1m, and only work 7.5 hours weekly.

Karen Lynne Chess is the licensed advisor I use. Just google the name and you'd find basic info. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.

Real estate if using leverage properly, picking the right property in the right location with the right tenants and doing the right Reno’s. Then yes strictly financially but there’s also other factors like energy and time involved

Not necessarily though there is a fair amount of overlap but that’s not necessarily a negative. Having a diverse portfolio is KEY; that being said my initial deposit of 90K has grown to over $650K in only just ten months :)

Yes - TD - is a sure bet - long term - however - dividend frequencies might lag some of the other competitors... for example - CIBC - over 5yrs has increased their dividends by 25%.. during the worst of times.. / but all Canadian banks are good bets... 👍 thank you for your advice 😅
