I respect this lady's work but for goodness sake, I am personally sick of the term "life long leftist" and people wearing it like a badge of honor. To me the only badge of honor one should be proud of is "open minded person who is willing to listen". Some of the mess we are in today started with virtue signalling boomers. This lady seems younger, possibly Gen X, but people need to realize that their iron clad political beliefs are meaningless and common sense and open-mindedness are the true vitues.

With 3 minutes to the end, my speedy thots are wondering about your motivational factors AT this point. Socializing at the gym, with the sports junkies, chatting it up with BrainFood fanatics that help restore forward moving momentum toward your refurbished life goals? The sales department sees the downside bummer of his double, Mr. A Void, only becoming the empty self fulfillment of said prophecy in his name. Spiritual vacuocity is for the cold hearted. Lots of space and no one to be with, around or to become. You are actually actualizing your potential right now being in this podcast!! Keep growing and don't be afraid to get outside your comfort zone and be afraid to fail. Not everyone is a door to door salesman. But if you are, your future is bright Positive outlook and skilled at handling rejection move the numbers your way. Besides, who doesn't get a lift when someone is effectively handing you money.

The video headline is misleading. She wasn’t banned for fact checking. The creepy stalked a private citizen, wrote an article about him, then directed everyone on X to go read it. Who knows, the guy may have started getting threats or having his accounts hacked so X decided it wasn’t good for the community to have articles written about private citizens advertised on X. The difference between X now and twitter 3 yrs ago is the lady didn’t get banned for her political beliefs or gender identity opinions or her opinions on which flags should fly. So you two saying X is just like Twitter of yesterdays is fucking stupid.

Living on Skid Row, you probably would think every homeless person has SUD. Only 30 - 50% of homeless use drugs. Many start after becoming homeless. Please don't lie about that .

Bridget is right on about the sober living. Its explosion on SoCal was an insurance racquet. The kids that were sent to CA for a 30 day, but then kicked out for drug use were now homeless. It exploded the homeless and crime. True recovery help needs a good 6mo with path to work. Not 30 or 60 days

I grew up poor and homeless off and on.....genuinely, that "mythic," homeless you mention. And, "mythic," may be the most accurate description I've ever heard, because we really did try to be mythic and unseen, below the radar. And what I tell people, growing up poor doesn't give the kids any leg up, and they will always start way behind in life. But growing up with addicted parents looks like there is nearly zero chance for kids to break the cycle of insanity, abuse, poverty. Poor and sober means the kids have a chance. Poor and addicted looks like it's impossible to escape the cycle. The trauma of growing up poor with sober parents is insane enough. I don't know how anyone gets out if their parents were addicts. Anyone that does has super powers and also has had amazing luck in meeting anyone that cared to notice or help them.

14:07 Like many, i had a similar situation with a teacher. It was clear to myself, and most of the class that she hated me and was doing everything she could to fail me but always played innocent. I had brought this up to my guidance counselor earlier in the year but was blown off so i took a big risk to expose her. We had to write a report that was going to be worth 1/3rd of our final grade for the year. This was the early 90's so not everyone had the internet but my GF did so I hopped online and found a high school students report on the same subject that had won state awards and was submitted to some national competition. I copied it, only making minor grammatical changes so it better matched my writing style, and submitted it. When we got our grades back she gave me a D- on it, putting me right on the edge of failing the class. In response I requested a meeting with the teacher, my guidance counselor, and one of the assistant principals. In the meeting I told them the teacher was intentionally trying to fail me and gave them my report. They obviously sided with the teacher and told me I was not taking responsibility and needed to work harder. After they finished finished trashing me, the teacher being the most aggressive of the 3, I placed the original on the desk along with proof of the awards it received. They then tried to spin it, threatening to expell me for plagiarism. In response I told them they could go that route but if they did I would go to the district head, and anyone who would listen, to make sure the teacher would lose her job and anyone covering for her would face consequences. When the meeting was over I was guaranteed a B+ for my final grade and they would have the head of her department review her grading to make sure I was the only one she was playing games with. Turns out there were 2 other students she was doing something similar to, and she was gone the following year. I don't know if she was fired, quit, or was simply transferred to one of the other high schools in the district.

I have a feeling his comedy will be the same as his writing= incomprehensible which is why he has to make sure no one can record it. This is also the same guy who let it slip exactly where Bridget lives on the biggest podcast in the world. This guy is fake and cringe and this episode is a hard pass.

Speaking of Muskrat, I notice that he's been dead-silent in the media since telling the entire electorate "f**k you in your face". It sure looks like Mr. "I'm a billionaire, nobody tells me anything" got told to sit down and shut up at the very least. Does anybody know if he even represents DOGE anymore? By the way, Elon is wanted in several European countries for election interference. It wouldn't bother me a bit if he got picked up while traveling abroad and thrown into a French prison. In fact, I think it would do him some good.

An example of a characteristic that serves and is detrimental is hyper-vigilance. It’s an issue I have had since my first deployment to Iraq in 2006. It’s cost me sleep and has harmed relationships, but it’s also gotten me and my family out of hairy situations.

In Michael's recent interview on Triggernometry, they talk about something similar - some European countries have had a traumatic history, and that makes them less naive about evil than the average American for example, but that also leads to being more cynical and black-pilled in life, which isn't good.
