Hello. In your expert opinion, overall, what is best for a dryer: gas or electric?

OK, I was with you until you started whining about Biden. Nobody's gonna take your tumble dryer away from you, just like they're not taking your gas stove from you or whatever the hell else you people are letting Fox News freak you out about.

I disagree with having to remove the gas tube. 2 days ago, I changed out the igniter with a tube in place. 1/4 drive ratchet, and it was easy enough. Now, I repair for a living and do difficult things daily. So for a homeowner, it would be better to remove the gas tube for simplicity.

I am considering Bespoke after considering your recommendation for GE but I keep hearing how loud GE’s are and I just can’t have that as I work out of my home and my kitchen is a kitchen/living room with tv. Once again KZbin has saved me. Over the past 10 years, I would estimate KZbin has saved me between $75K to 100K in car and home repairs. I installed the safety pins as the video instructed and the washer works like new. Not sure how long the fix will last, but it beats spending $50 for a new set of dampers.

I would never have another washer like this. It goes out every time the electricity flickers and takes forever to finally recalibrate.

The 30 cu.ft if only available model available with the 4 drawer. The 29 cu.ft is the only model that comes with 2 drawers, but you get the flex freezer drawer. 30 cu.ft model is cheaper than the 29 cu.ft, about $100-$200 difference. (On Samsung store)

I heard about these combo units this week and I am absolutely jumping on this as soon as my current LG washer dryer combo has a major issue. They're past their 10 year warranty and are starting to have control board problems.

I have found this video a little bit late, i bought a repair kit on amazon reviews are good. Inside the panel everything was completely frozen…. Fan was block with ice too. So the kit I bought fit really good, until I put the panel back, the clips didn’t close properly so I try many ways as gently as I could, finally I took off the two tapes that goes in the the back and so then, I was able to close it, (but took me I while) it fit almos perfect…. I don’t know if because of those tapes, it wont work. Your video is very helpful! Thank you!!!

Hi Ben! I'm currently getting ice build up all the way in the back of the ice compartment, basically right above the auger fan. Will this heater fix ice buildup that far back? If not, any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

I just did this today. 5/21/24 Maytag only 4 years old It works now. Not to hard. Wear a long sleeve shirt or you might get scratched up. I am still going to order new ones.

I just did this. When setting the metal hub on the plastic tub, there's a gap in between. I tightened the screws. Then lifted on the tub while using a plastic mallet and tapping the shaft down. You can also put the hub nut on loosely and tap on that too. Then tighten the screws some more. Then tap again and repeat. Took me several tries to finally get the metal hub to sit all the way down.

I'm not sure if it will actually hurt anything, but I just tracked down the little speaker and unplugged it. Problem solved. Technician told me it needed a new wiring harness.

My Samsung front loader ecobubble spins smooth and perfect when it's empty, and the drum turns just fine and round when i test it by hand, but makes a horrible banging noise when there are clothes being spun in it. Please help. I've leveled the legs, there are no shipping bolts in, cleaned the drainage trap, calibrated the machine, rearranged the load midspin, and now I'm at my wits end.

Hey Ben, We just replaced our 8 year old Maytag Bravos this weekend do to wash plate lock up and fried drive motor. I have a feeling this would have fixed the wash plate issue, but not sure if the drive motor could be fixed. I hope the new Whirlpool will last a bit longer than 8 years. Thanks for the videos.

I just bought this thing last month (4/22) and the dryer isn't drying. I gave up holding for LG support so I tried their LIVE CHAT. That was a big waste of time, they had me troubleshoot it which didn't work after trying to DRY ONLY the same load that wouldn't dry from the day before.
