Arabs are beautiful in your spirit, and Arabic in all her dialets, is very beautiful. I love Iraqi, Hijazi, and Masari, Arabic. God bloss you, and keep, you.

Can I also add that these words are also very different in each dialect. Like for example in Libya, ana jei means I'm coming or toa n'jee, I'll come soon. It's quite funny how we all know this off by heart, yet I'm just realising how complicated it is for someone learning the language who isn't Arabic. Wish you all the very best 🎉

Why is it in Shami/Iraqi/Khaliji dialects (and egyptian, if im not mistaken) there is an adition of the prefix 'b' (with, by etc.) compared to Fusha which doesn't have this addition?

It's a style sometimes called Arabic chat alfabet. It's because Arabic contains sounds that there are no Latin letters for, so numbers can be used instead. Like 7 for the stronger H sound (in mar7aba=hi), and 3 for the letter 3ain, as in 3arabi=arabic. (The more official fancy way is with special symbols and dots under the letters and so on, but it's hard to do on a normal keyboard)
@ValyX7I

@@linnea8753 but it's a hell of confusing, writing with both letters and numbers in the same sentence, i mean it's really a strange way to write down, and more difficult for us new beginners in arabic, who is trying to learn the language. Anyways I thank you for your explanation.
@linnea8753
@linnea8753 2 жыл бұрын
@@ValyX7I Yes, I agree, it's confusing for me too. But still it's a lot better than not using special symbols. Without them the words nahr (river) and na7r (slaughter) would be written the same way. (I've mistaken them, lol. "I'm going to the slaughter) If you can I recommend that you learn the Arabic script too. Not only because it's stunningly beautiful, but because it helps with pronunciation and differentiating between the letters. Also it's clear which vowel sounds are long and which are short.
