Few things id like to say about this scene. 1) Good young Iceman portrayal. A young dude that can control ice has definitely chilled a few drinks even at his young age. And the way the actor did it shows this. 2)Why are the sodas kept in the cuboard? 3)Hugh Jackman is a great Wolverine both in acting chops, hair and his facial features. Hes done a great job over the years. My only gripe is Logan just isnt that tall, hes super thicc, short ball of muscle. Jackman is just too tall for comic book accurate Logan but its all gravy baby hes done a great job.

This feels like a great joke hat missed all the marks. To wit, I'd make a translation humor involving an amateur translator, an accidental sabotage joke where Ludlow is the reason why Pac-Man bit Iwatani's hand (and Ludlow himself wasn't at fault), and the fact it could be set up as the reason why Lady Lisa CAN be redeemed.

Y'all goin' on about Xavier being a mindreader, but he doesn't have every single thought of every single person on the planet running through his head at once most of the time, and when he does, it's either extremely crippling or he's using Cerebro to sort it all out. He or Jean would have to come and have a face-to-face with the kids, and besides, even with that, does anyone honestly think the kids would care? I spent a year and a half "hiding" my pot smoking from my parents with the assumption that they knew and didn't care -- when my mom offered me a joint one day when I came home for Christmas and my dad said I didn't smoke, I was shocked he didn't know that I'd been smoking in the room right next to his for so long before I moved out. (EDIT: This was way before legalization for the record)

Moments like this are what’s sorely needed in the MCU and why their new characters keep flopping. You need quiet character moments where the immediate action takes a backseat for a few minutes so the characters can breathe and the audience can understand them. The audience needs moments to see who these people actually are so we can connect with them. Peter’s dinner scene with Otto and his wife in Spider-Man 2, the dinner scene in The Dark Knight, Clark contemplating revealing his secret to Lois in Superman, Tony’s time in the cave in Iron Man, Steve’s visit to Peggy in Winter Soldier, and so on. These are crucial to making a great superhero film, and MCU is currently lacking them in their projects, or when they do happen they get treated as a joke.
