Looking foward to part two. Im going to try casting a japanese style wa handle bolster shortly in sterling silver.

Все понравилось, но проушина узкая надо было расширить, ручку лучше как на томагавке без клина, и термообработка, закалить надо было только лезвие, а так форма красивая респект 👍

Ok how do I buy a hand made knife? There’s no link to your store.

Absolutely no way this is authentic, true, real Damascus. It's forge welded. I'm surprised that this guy a master smith doesn't even know the difference.

TAKE A PIECE OF WOOD 1X1X1 or something like that cut a deep kerf in it and put it over the blade on the front guide the movement will hold the piece on and it will wick off enough coolant to keep it from running down the front of the saw im thinking u could clamp it and squeeze tighter when worn....or u can buy the red wheeled cart cut the ton shelf off set the saw on 4x4's and have the whole thing in a tub

Can I ask, why did you harden the entire axe? Didnt you want some flex if you are throwing that beast?

Hi. That brass burnisher is really nice. Who makes that? (Great quality video, btw.)

Thank you for the video. I think you might be going too hard on these files, which will compromise their lifetime. There's an explanation video from the manufacturer that emphasizes gentle usage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJvLemuqgLNmmMk

thanks i found the video informing, was wondering how you would go about fastening a loop to the outside of the sheath? i am a flint knapper and i would like to attach a deer antler tine on a lanyard to the outside of the sheath so whomever will be able to sharpen their knife if it gets dull

I love the contrast between the forged and clean finish. Quick question - how thick is the edge before you start the making the final edge with the diamond plates?

I got this same set of files. I tested it on a batch of 80crv2 that I targeted for 60hrc and got similar feedback. 60 would scratch the finish but didn't dig in. 65 would bite but not really well.
