I played one of those satellites not long ago as well. And yeah the dynamic is definitely different. There are situations where you have to play defense. A guy close to the mark raises to steal blinds and get his seat and someone has to reraise big/shove... even with aces he should be making a laydown at that point. Its pretty fun adding that strategy to the game. As always, keep up the great content you two.

I’m confused about line too. When I played in the freeze out, I signed up night before, paid, got my three tickets./ receipts. There wasn’t even a line at night when I signed up. Morning of event I sat down at my table immediately after they opened doors about 15 minutes before start time.

Personally I prefer to play day1 on time and create an image of playing tighter than a Frogs 🐸 Azz and build a huge stack. Or if you can afford the rebuys play like a Maniac 😊

I was once at an FT in Vegas where we were on the bubble with six left. Five of the six decided to give the next player out $30 to get about half his buy-in back, which we did. The player who declined ended up winning it all anyway!
