Love that you don’t make people (at least me🤷🏻‍♂️)feel they’re being petty about the lil amounts that will actually be a good amount in the end . I always wonder if gravel pit companies even consider collecting gold ?🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m curious if water temperature helps or if warm water with cold materials or other way around 🤷🏻‍♂️

note, i have no exp at all with any of this. just learning. A thought.. has anyone ever considered using a flower-watering can to backwash back up the sluice to re-lift lighter material caught in the baffles? you kinda see that when people use a Miller table and their little paintbrush.

would u use this on what was caught in the sluice's first run too.. not just its tailings??

So to pan or use a metal detector in crown lands is legal without a permit? Does the government take a cut too?

Screen the dirty water only and pan down carefully; can you do a video on getting that gold out of the pan and into a vial or suitable storage until I have an ounce? Or, say, half an or even 1/4 ounce? My problem has always been in transferring a pan into ever smaller containers until I can collect enough that doesn't take up a huge amount of room in the time it takes to fill a suitable amount-snuffer bottles I always feel I'm floating a lot out, and with every transfer, maybe from the pan into a beaker and the water evaporates, or clarifies enough if needed to pour enough water off to add the next batch? How much muddy water would I need to process for a 1 gram batch, or even smaller? Save it all, and when it's worth it, do it all! Seriously. I am lazy, and it haunts me to know, or think, I'm losing gold in any step of the process, and then I avoid that step and never get it done; I'm beginning to think I am a hoarder!

Aussie Bloke what a beautiful set up mate. I’ve just turned 50;and I’ve made me mind up. I owe me home and I’m over working for the man so to speak. I’ve always had fun prospecting with the Kids and my beautiful wife. So I. Going full time buddy. It’s just the life style. Yeah it can be hard work and at times shit happens. But I believe it’s the perfect time. I got some good funds in the bank. I’ve got me 9th but reliable caravan. All my gear. But this has sold me this sir. I’ll be Prospecting with the metal detectors. Plus say I bring 400 kms of perishables I’ll bring back 400kms of ore. And the set up I’ll have at home will be me job. Classifying and learning what works best. Plus’s I can give me self a good 5 years of practice, learning adjusting and live what I know 100% would be a humble but successful HAPPY LIFESTYLE. GOOD ONYA BUDDY.👌🇦🇺

Illegal in more than a couple of states.. If you are risking big fines may as well do it for big gold (not that I condone it)

Recently found my first gold and it was 1-3 pieces of this stuff in a pan. Captured a total of 12 specks. Sadly it all disappeared when I tried to clean it up.

Crazy experiment that I wouldn't have guessed would have caught any gold, especially with carpet, tiny expanded metal, & big-ish rifles. A shaker sluice that still needs to be panned instead of a one and done shaker table. Hmm; idk; I guess it's good if you can't make a shaker table. No videos for 3 years, No reply for a year; was interesting to think about though. Would like to figure out how to do fine gold recovery or most of it straight away. - Am thinkin tight roller screens to classify fine gold and sand at the moment, never thought about vibration as I thought it would compact or bounce gold out and wash away. Cool vid.
