Thx for the video. Checking obstructed view for an Antarctica cruise, because it is much more affordable if you are a solo traveler. However did you have any problems concerning noise? Thanks

@@ProudEuropean Hello. We did have a very minor problem in that the first cabin we stayed in was right above a door that needed adjusting as it kept slamming shut. We asked them just to get the door adjusted or mended, but they actually moved us further along the boat. That was the only real noise issue, and nothing major. Generally the cabins are very well sound protected and quiet.

We loved Juneau! It was a lovely place. We stopped there twice and on the other day we went for a walk up into one of the trails. We seriously thought about getting the bus to the glacier, but we’ve seen some fantastic glaciers in both Alaska and Iceland, so thought that we might be a little underwhelmed with the glacier itself (although I’m sure the walk there was very nice), so decided on our little walk instead. Do you ask bus driver to alert you for the stop where you can walk to the visitor center? Do you pay $5 to get into the visitor center?
@BrainzIOW
@BrainzIOW 2 ай бұрын
We were using Google Maps on our phone so knew when we were approaching the correct stop, but despite that, the bus driver did indicate when we were there anyway. We didn't need to ask him, he just did it. You don't need to pay the $5 visitor pass unless you actually go into those designated areas. That doesn't include walking to the waterfall.
