People watching this video probably doesn't follow Turkish leauge which makes easier to spread misinformation. Galatasaray couldn't have won the leauge title without the federation and the referees. Every derby that Galatasaray played was full of referee mistakes. For example at the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby our player Djiku got a unfair red card although we won the match. This video is pointing out how Galatasaray is dominant but actually it is the complete opposite. If you want to make a reference, Fenerbahçe is the Real Madrid of the Turkish leauge and Galatasaray is the Barcelona of the Turkish leauge.

I think next 2 years will be between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray. Okan Buruk knows the cheat code of league and likely they will be the champion. But i dont think both of them will keep paying this huge wages to their players and have to downgrade their squad. If Beşiktaş and Trabzon get their act together (very unlikely) or Fenerbahçe get rid of Koç (somewhat likely) we will see more competetive leaugue again. And dont get me started in Anatolian teams. Outside of Göztepe and Samsun, they cant stand a chance against Fener and Gala. İf they were in super league 10 years ago, they would get relegated.

Galatasaray winning the title many times in a row isnt just because they are simply good. There is too much behind that. If you don't follow Turkish football directly, you might not know this but Turkish football is more politics than sports. Galatasaray is either directly or indirectly being protected by the federation and a specific group of referees. The government intentionally and deliberately monopolized the league in Galatasaray's behalf. The president of Fenerbahçe is an egoist crybaby but he was right when he said "Do you really believe that Fenerbahçe not winning the title for over 11 years is just a sportive coincidence?" Also when Jorge Jesus left Fenerbahçe, he said "In Turkey, you dont win matches on the pitch. This league does not have a sporting reality." Sure, Galatasaray is good. But they have NEVER been good enough to monopolize the league. Their success is unnatural. They are good right now because they have simply been favored for the several seasons.

No doubt gala is good. But everyone who truly knows football and the turkish league, knows gala is being protected by the federation and just have some extra upper hand.
