Haven't watched this masterpiece film till date. With this confession I must say that this narration by Pathak sir made me search for this movie n I happened to watch something I would have missed otherwise. The main reason for me not watching the movie was it was black n white n I felt may b it's not going to b that interesting. But trust me it was such a beautiful narration of the use of sound n light that compelled me to witness that something just black n white can b made so beautiful ❤️

Hi Rashmi, Bandini is really a true masterpiece for those who see cinema as a work of art. I see Bandini as an artwork. Nutan is flawless, so is Ashok kumar and Dharmedra. In this film they are nor film stars but characters. The film is tightly focussed around it's central thought which is "Bandini or prisoner" that too on multiple layers. Prisoners in body, mind and maya. It is truly a film making masterclass.

Well, sorry to announce that haven't watched this master piece till dt, rather couldn't get a chance till dt, thanks JK for taking us through the classic, now it has become more compelling to watch this great wk. Not only it was a narration of the film, but all great efforts behind the screen were also covered. Great going JK, the original flick runs for 2 hrs & 37 min, this review is of 30 min, no doubt, no review/critique of even those days can match yours, only recommendation is that next wk may be restricted to about 20 min, wonderful !!!
