Robert, thank YOU! I typically don't have a problem with removing plug nuts, Lord knows I've had experience with horse trailer tires!!! But I definitely shared your video with several friends on Facebook!!! Thank You for your time in making and researching this! Bill

I carry a 1/2" drive deep socket set and a 36" long 1/2" drive breaker bar in my truck under the back seats. I can stand on it and give myself 580+ pounds of torque. Because I do all my own vehicle work I already have the tools. A sledge hammer is also a good tool to have along because many times rims are stuck on like they are welded there even after your lugs are off. Just put a block of wood up against the rim and give it a good smack with a sledge hammer to break it loose.

I have the tools I need to get the lug nuts off, but there is now way in heck I would be able to lift and get a spare tire on.

That's a legit concern! I've rolled the spare onto a tire iron and then lifted the iron (back to levers!) to lift the tire onto the lugs. I've also sat under the tire and lifted it that way but I don't like to have parts of me under the vehicle. Hope this helps.

Great idea and you could use that piece of pipe to knock out a small bear or at least take a good swing at it. 😊

Good video thanks! Where can I get a pipe like that?

Thank you for the kind words! I got mine at the local hardware store. It's the same type of piep that is used for gas lines. Happy trails!
