Good review. A hybrid option to these might be a stick stove or sierra stove as one brand is known. Compact enough for backpacking with a battery operated fan, these work quite well if there is a source of finger-sized sticks available. I follow strick LNT and backpack so pro/bu cannister is my preference.

Thank you. We've tried the bio lite stick stoves and while nifty they just didn't do what we wanted at the time. Maybe we'll try again at a later date. Bravo on the LNT so many people don't. Thanks for leaving an area a little better than you found it.
