You should let your lure sink a little and slow down the retrieve. Might get a better outcome.
@endlessseasfishing399Ай бұрын
Hi John thanks, yes slower retrieve seems to work way better for mackeral and sub surface I have come to conclude now. Ironically the video is labeled fishing for spotted mackeral as that's what we caught. But we were actually fishing for tuna which I like a skip across the surface.

Hey Richo, the centre mount is a 475. So not much bigger than the quintrex runabout we had at 4.6m. It does handle and perform alot better tho, probably on a guaranteed glassy day we will head wider. But still in the market for a hard top plate boat at the moment around 6m. Would love a fisher maxi series or noble super vee

Hey interesting pods you have on the side of your boat, did you add them? Looks like they would add a bit of stability.
@endlessseasfishing39911 ай бұрын
Hey yes they do look abit wild i think. The previous owner had them installed. I believe theyre called a bouyancy collar. Its foam with alloy plate over it. It definately gives amazing stability at rest, and it also acts like a big reverse chine under way deflecting spray. Its very dry for a centre console. It also has good stability underway acting abit like trim tabs would do to keep the boat level underway
