My biggest problem is with the glue gun. It puts out a bit of glue and then stops like it's getting gunked up, and then there isn't enough to apply to the tab effectively. I haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong so far.

Wow, I’m so glad I found this video. I’ve been having the same issue on my Corrado SLC since my VR6 was REBUILT after I drive the car and get up to normal operating temperature then turn the car off, the fans never go on. Do you think it’s a bad thermal fan switch? Also, they say that if you don’t have a low temperature thermostat and just put a low temp thermal fan switch in that your car will not run cooler and it will also waste more gas and cause your car to stall. Is this true?

Thanks for posting this video! I just ordered rear bumper fillers for my '77 Buick Regal from Replica Plastics, as the original ones are crumbling. Your advice will help me with my installation. I looked and looked all over the internet, and Replica Plastics was the only company I found that will make these fillers for my car. I hope it turns out as nice as your '73 Monte Carlo. Thanks again!

The larger o ring can be soaked in gasoline for a few seconds. This lubricants the o ring so it can be slide over the injector into place.
@andrerodriguez7603
@andrerodriguez7603 Ай бұрын
A fuel injector tool is still made for pulling out injectors you can buy, making this job easy. Or if you see a picture of the tool online, one can easily be made with a piece of sheet metal. These o rings tend to get hard and need replacing every few years, so a must to have this tool in your tool box.

Was the transmission dry when you did this? I didn't see any fluid come out. Mine appears to be leaking fluid but may only be when it's up to operating temperature. I redid the pan seal and still getting fluid on the pan seam but only below this.
@ShinyFastLoud
@ShinyFastLoud Ай бұрын
I believe when I did it I had already drained the pan since I was replacing the filter and gasket as well.

Yes but I believe the directions call for notching it slightly to clear the vacuum hose.

Its a common cover for Mustangs and Cougars to just keep water and debris out of the cowl. It uses spring clips and is easy to remove.

Without needing to depress the accelerator pedal overly exaggerated, just normal steady pressure through 2nd to 4th gears, it had a very pronounced beautiful rapidly crisp responsive acceleration behavior.

That car was the best car I've ever had. The one I had was a 1978, a station wagon (Brava Wagon 4-door). It had a 5-speed manual stick. The chairs were supremely comfortable. Very *wide* chair. It could corner in turns tabletop flat with absolutely no leaning. It had the most comfortable, interesting ambiance interior and cabin. My stick shift was not angled; it was straight down into the center console. It got about 30mpg. I bought it for 500 bucks (over 2 1/2 decades ago) and it started and ran without needing anything. I didn't even change the oil for 3 months, drive to work everyday as a tradesman, and drive it Saturday and Sunday too. 7 day a week daily driver. I was into buying a different 300-500 dollar used car every 12-15 months back then. I've owned 77 used cars in my life so far (since 15 years old) and 1 new car that has zero miles on the odometer, once.

If the problem is the section which the key goes into can’t you just remove that and replace without having to take everything apart? Or Is it generally the metal cylinder that is at fault? Mine is jamming /getting stuck mainly when I try to turn off ignition I have to wiggle the key in lots of ways and eventually it will turn off
