Love the floor choice!!! YESSS! (Not too light. You're seeing it next to your dark moldings. Once you get them painted white, the floors wont look too light. Just right! Imo.) And I think the crown molding is the perfect size in the bathroom. I don't really like heavy moldings anymore. Less is more to me! Oh the quartz is absolutely lovely!!! Love your taste!!! Can't wait to see more updates! 😍

I just installed the same quartz as you. I love it. My cabinets are westhighland white with brushed gold handles. i used 4x4 Amagansett tile for my backspalsh in cream/sand. They are stunning. They really complement the quartz. My floors are a walnut. Not finished yet but soon. Good luck on your reno.

Make sure to have all your ductwork cleaned out after your completed to help from breathing debris that settles during remodeling. Helps with any allergies and with your AC units We did and wow it was an eye opener to see what was cleaned out 😷🤢🤮

@@Hummingbird108 True, life at times doesn't work out as planned. I took care of my mentally ill mother since I was five years old. 60 years. But it's not just working since 16. It's getting either an education in a field or getting the type of skills that pay well in the marketplace. I don't know your situation, but working long hours at a minimum wage job won't cut it. Nonetheless, since we both sacrificed for those we loved, I hope it has given you as much joy as it has given me.

Hi Beth, I was giggling watching how excited you are because your excitement is infectious and I can totally relate. I gutted and totally remodeled my kitchen. I felt the same as you then. I want to tell you what has made my hardwood floor so easy to clean. I got a Shark Steamer that is so very easy to use and gets the floor beautifully clean with hot steam, using only water. It is light and super easy to glide around. Thanks so much for this video. I really enjoyed it!

Thank you for sharing your remodel with us. The hardwood floors look stunning! Love the light colour and satin gloss. Are they total timber or engineered wood? Curious to see all the cabinets repainted white as well, some clever ideas from your carpenter for opening up the kitchen area with new bench tops. What colour did you choose for the walls? I am renovating as well soon and it is very extensive. We will move into our guest room and it will be very cramped. Estimated time for completion is 12 months! I hope hubby and I stay sane and not cranky with each other while living through it.

Wow! A year renovation. I feel sorry for you guys. I didn’t think this would be so difficult. We’re only about two months in and it is getting old. I have to admit. I think mine will be done in another 2 to 3 months. This is not for the faint of heart, but I wish you well. I am going to be using Sherwin-Williams alabaster on the cabinets and accessible beige on all the walls. I use those colors in my last house and they really work well together. Good luck!
