Yeah, people should get their oil analyzed every interval. For crying out loud, people are cheap as Fuk. They won't even change their oil on time, and when they do, they want the cheapest. Waste of time....

I am proudly South African 🇿🇦 Like wise thanks for this video. I've always relied on your videos to attend to almost anything and everything there is to repair on my 2009 e93 N54 engine. I remember when my engine seized and professional mechanics recommended that I should buy a new to me (2nd hand) engine I fixed my car with videos I downloaded from your channel and other valuable channels. NOW I need to DIY engine removal and overhaul the engine. May you please drop a step to step link on how to remove the engine from the car Look forward to hearing from you Thanks again.

Typically the oil plug is magnetic to catch metal chips

The mechanic didn't cut the filter open all the way. How does he know that he doesn't have more metal in there?

Great explanation! Planning on doing my own solenoid replacement based on your video. Just to confirm that I would not have to program the transmission after changing solenoids? Just drive normally around town and put some miles on it and it will adapt itself? I do not have ISTA/P and a dealer is an 8 hour drive from me.

What crap Is this. Nah. It’s called being a mechanic. I don’t need a lab to tell me what parts are rubbin. This is like doctors who use labs and don’t perform a physical exams. Lazy.
