Why are the average Chinese citizens struggling financially? It's because the Communist Party has systematically drained their resources. A significant portion of the wealth is funneled into the pockets of officials, while the rest is wasted on flashy, grandiose buildings that serve more as symbols of power than practical benefit to the people.

This is the society where the police truly protect and serve the citizen that we should have in US, not in China. But the reality is US, police will beat the shit out of you if you give them a hard time. That's if they don't draw their pistol and point at your for the fear that their safety is in jeopardy if you reach your wallet too quickly. Citizen in China love their police while citizen in US fear and hate the police. There are good reasons on both sides.

I did notice a lot of cameras on the utility poles, and there's a great deal of electronics on these utility poles. They don't appear to be located where they're needed for traffic. On the other hand, there's a lot of distance between individual cameras. Are they for facial recognition and monitoring of people? And the graffiti if phenomenal!

I had a similar experience in Hangzhou a few months ago. Me and my wife were on our 'illegally modified' e-bike and a police officer stopped us and around 10 other (mostly older Chinese women). He told us we were in the car lane and had missed the bike lane turn-off so we were going to get booked. We were all pretty confused and asking 'Where was the bike lane turn-off?' to which the cop pointed up the road to badly designed slip road to a bike lane. The confusion then turned to frustration and the woman being booked said 'You know you work for us, we the people? Don't you think you'd be serving us better by standing up there and directing bikers into that lane rather than standing here and sneakily booking us for your own personal browny points?' We all concurred with that and the cop cancelled the bookings and waved us all through! In my 20 years experience here 'wayward' or self-serving' public officials here are quickly reminded that their priority is to serve the people.

The best defense against communist authoritarian dictatorship is to strengthen democracies from corrupting influences and nepotism. It takes an active and concerted effort of the people, to ensure that our democratically elected politicians are truly representing our interests. We must also address what hostile communist countries are doing, both domestically and abroad. Democratic Nations must stand together against their lawlessness in defense of global security, human rights, and enforce International Law. Which is why ADV chapters are popping up everywhere, and already exists on three continents. Allied Democracy Vanguard has multiple chapters in every country, and are waiting for people like you. People who are tired of complaining about what the CCP-PLA is doing in our countries, and actually want to do something about it.

Guys ,only when you personally visit China-when you have been to cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Xi'an, or even Lhasa and Urumqi-will you realize that you have long been deceived by Western media. Today, China is nominally a third-world country, but in reality, it has become an undeniable superpower. Overall, it is more advanced than countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. It offers greater personal safety, lower living costs, cleaner cities, and newer, more advanced infrastructure, among other advantages. Westerners wake up now !
