Personally, up to season 4 the story makes sense. Season 5 is more of a guilty pleasure, but after that, the characters are one noted, plot points that were established are redone/forgotten, tule of two transformation (one being 3D) yeah, the show looses its charm

I have read some versions of Cinderella that lack the fairy godmother where her father is going on a trip and asks her and the step sisters what they want, and Cinderella asks him that if his hat is hit by a branch, to bring her that. He does, and she plants the branch next to her mother's grave, and a tree grows from there. A Rose tree. She gets the dress and the slippers and everything else from said tree.
