Merci je connais cette version par J E Gardiner elle est magnifique Personnellement je possède la version par F Friscay avec Maria Stader ...Ernst Haefliger plus ancienne mais tout aussi splendide car pourquoi comparer ce sont des interprétations et il n'y a que la musique de Mozart qui compte et ici avec cette oeuvre comme avec ses opéras Mozart est au sommet de sa création

I listened to this Mass one day after my dear, too favorite dog passed away, Peppa. I'm destroyed, but Bach can comfort my heart with this celestial Music. To me, his masterpiece.

In my opinion Haydn' greatest symphony (although the Farewell is a close contender) "Sturm Und Drang" at its height here brought to us by a truly legendary conductor! I still prefer, though, original instruments in this repertoire, I'm afraid! They have a pungency in this music that modern wind instruments smooth out. The horns look to be period instruments in any case.
