You definately need a mentor, i lost thousands in the first week of trading, then I caught Santa Claus climbing down my chimney, after talking to him over a glass of milk & some chocolate chip cookies I found not only is he an expert in delivering presents & squeezing through narrow spaces but he also is very good at trading the stock market, his gold plated sledge gave me confidence, since I last saw him almost 11 months ago I’ve made millions, the bad news is you can’t contact him on telegram or WhatsApp, you have to catch him coming down your chimney if you want his trading advice…..stay up on December 24th, trust me it’s worth it guys….this time next year you could all be millionaires!

7:25 You didnt follow your own advice on this one. Everyone's circumstances are different yet youve offered blanket advice when it comes to buying a house. Many young people are preparing to leave the country, it's not in their interest to buy a property because you have to own for 15 years + to actually see profif for most people after ALL costs and inflation. Also renting it out has serious income and capital gain tax implications that you completely ignored

I didn't start saving for a pension until I was 29. Now I'm 57 and have amazingly managed to save £800k, but in order to do this I've had to work in well paid but very stressful jobs, and my mental health has suffered as a result. If I could go back in time I would not have wasted time on university, but started work at 18 in a job I enjoyed and started to save right away.

Compound interest is crazy because I started saving for my pension at 24 and I have £60k now at 30. By 65 it's projected to be over £2m even if I never pay another penny. I graduated late from uni so the students who are skipping uni all together will be able to grow even more wealth!

Really good video Chris and a load of golden advice.......one thing I wish would happen is that schools went back to teaching financial items - nothing complicated, but give context and examples - and invite speakers in etc.....would certainly of helped me......5 years in your pension when you are 18 is so much more valuable than when you are even as low as mid 20's..... as you say....start now.

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early, I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but l'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling! Thanks Charlotte Grace Miller.

The first thing I'd say to myself when I was your age was don't use Americanisms like "suck" and "of a". They may be big but they aren't clever. The second, speaking as someone who now has a lovely big HMRC-proof ISA, is that you're wrong about that, son. Wrap every penny you can.

Start with a global index - My first investments were home markets only, mostly because it felt safer, and a little bit of hedging because they were undervalued. In reality they underperformed and weren't any safer. Don't miss the crash/bottom - Set and forget can work most of the time, but if there is a nice dip in the market it can be a good time to enter. Keep mining Bitcoin - Yes my Bitcoin did well, but 2000% increase on a lot of still better than 2000% increase on a little.

We'll probably realise what we had when stocks and shares ISA is taken away or cut right down, so far we lose the portion of the allowance we didn't use each year. The £20k limit is reduced every year due to inflation. It's been the same for the last 7-8 years now and will be for another 6. In 2030 it'll probably be worth £12-13k relative to purchasing power of £20k in 2017. When you have your kid, start an ISA for them as their birth present and keep it up as long as you can
