Hi Rob! No worries. Depends on the fees on your HSBC FTSE All World, I'd go for Invesco over both on Invest Engine to lower fees. Also you have the question or perhaps Accumulation vs Income there too - I'd always stick to accumulation.

I have that British Airways Avios AMEX card (the zero fee one). its a very easy way to stack avios when you buy things you were going to buy anyway + you get a companion voucher if you spend I think £10,000 a year now, which is a decent bonus. I am looking at going for AMEX platinum but depends on how much travelling I am planning to do in the next 2 years as to whether that's worth the fee for me

@@chrispalmer24 Hi Chris, unfortunately I don’t have any book recommendations on marketing storytelling from my own reading experience. I’m a fiction writer who’s into investing (your channel has been of huge help for that! many thanks) and that’s why I know The Science of Storytelling. However, I have heard that the ‘Storyteller Tactics’ card deck is good but a bit pricy. Perhaps it is worth checking it out.

@@chrispalmer24 I meant , in general , we all got a bit lucky with the surge in tech for example last year. 2022 , not so good. If you made 20% , well good on you , as the US market plunged around 30% and the rest of the world tanked or stayed broadly flat.

I'm a big boxing fan actually. (Likely not the best pitch for Sky since Sky Boxing has gone downhill). But - I know multiple people who are/have been over £100 per month for Sky. My grandad was on £120 per month, one phone call he's on £50/month. A business model where their staff openly tell you to call each year and demand you need to cancel in order to be given a fair price, is 100% a con in my eyes. If not a con it's a very poor service, wouldn't you agree?

@@chrispalmer24 No I don’t agree at all I always negotiate every year when any of my contracts are up for renewal, anyone who lets them continue to run when they have ended are just stupid. The same applies to mobile phone & Network providers as well. And for the record they are still paying too much at £100 for Sky, I have Sky multi room (2xboxes), Sky Sports & films with HD and also broadband with Sky & still only pay £97 per month. Maybe you should have worded that differently by saying if there’s a service someone pays for that they are not enjoying or no longer really use than cancel it or downgrade and put that towards investing then it would have made sense.

I agree. They tried to double our prices and as soon as I called to cancel they were happy to reduce the price by 2/3. Didn’t matter as it shows just how overpriced their services were, but I know lots of people are moving away from companies who use profit strategies like Sky
