Mine was the throttle body. I have a brand new OEM if you need it... I bought three different ones. It seems OEM is the only one I could get to work

Back in the mid 1990s I was subcontracting above-ground pool instillations with a buddy of mine. I bought a used powder blue 1985 Ford F150 6 cylinder w/4 speed manual (first gear was a granny gear), previous owner had constructed a wooden bed with lift-off tailgate. Those years had almost a slight factory lift as you had to step-up pretty high to get in. I bought it for $2500 and it ran without fail every day for close to a decade without any problems. God I miss that truck. We used to call it "the Beast"

Ground issue somewhere, at pcm or gage cluster. U ever unhook the battery and zip-tie the positive and negative together? Let it sit overnight, drains all capacitors. It duz work sometimes, whoever been working on it before u needs to stop.

Ford 300s sound kinda gay, but they're them. If you don't know what a Barra is, check it brother. That motor was the first predecessor to the Barra, which eats 2js and RBs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, love you're wrenchin dog. keep pluggin.

I do professional cleaning. After you clean it, you should spray it with Vital Oxide, it has a chlorine-ish small, but it dissipates and kills all bacteria and smells.

Really didn't need to break that headlight dude. The video was enjoyable with that single exception. There is no point in ruining good parts that someone else could've picked up, kind of disappointing

reminds me of the desert of southern new mexico in the winter. loved that area, especially in the winter. cars would age well in the dry air (except for vacumn lines and dashboards lol.)

That really doesn't look like a Corvette.. It looks like a base model Mazda, what an ugly example of automotive engineering.

I have an EJ253 NA that still runs well, hasn't overheated, would I need to get the heads machined if doing a head gasket? Watching your vid it sounds like the machine shop you worked at also re-did the engines there, not sure where I can find a machine shop that does it here on the east coast.

This is also why i get upset with people who love imports its because people who buy them initially spend more money on them and maintain them better because of it but American made vehicles are cheaper but people who buy them don't take care of them because they don't care or can't afford to either way it makes my point i have a dodge ram 2010 with 450,000km and has no blow by runs amazing and i beat the heck out it but always change all my fluids on time and only use the cheapest stuff crazy what maintenance does oh and the transmission is original also and i run big dumb 35" mud tires its entire life my point being is you just traced down all the neglect that vehicle has been through in its life can you image if taken care of entire life ??

Maybe the best overall truck ever made by anyone! Tough, reliable, runs with cracked pistons and bad heads, just a fantastic engine and very old design. Once they released the 5 speed manual with efi they perfected this truck. The only real weakness is the twin i beam front end, if i owned one id replace the front suspension with a Dana 60 kingpin front end to fix this issue and bombproof the truck completely
