speaking of datamining Collection stuff, do you know if anyone ever datamined the Switch version of Walking Dead S1 for anything interesting? I ask because it seems to be running on a somewhat modified version of the Collection version: it had some things they changed like the Stranger being in the opening cutscenes, but it still had the old UI and kept stuff famously removed like the glass shard in the horde battle, as well as having some weird things like zoomed out camera angles, so it makes me wonder if there could've been anything

The sad part about the Final Season's Original Plans is that is sounds a hellava lot better than the Actual Final product in some senses such as the character development, certain narrow leading rabbit hole choices that had dead ends or choices that you just could not fix or go back on, A Road style trip actually sounds like a better concept so that your characters and plot/story can grow and breathe so that its not so closed in with just a few location and instead of it feeling like a sitcoms enclosed location limiter it can feel like a open world filled with all kinds of growth, but sadly Telltale being Telltale rushing product out without even double checking to make sure if its even baked well just shove it out to the public to eat even though its still raw and needs more time in the oven to cook, or instead of trying to get 7 pies in at one time in the span of 3 hours on a dead line for next week made by the people in charge saying they need to push more out than they an handle they should have instead just put two pies in at a time and let them rise and cook well before sending them out.

The Problem Isn't the Season itself its just how it was carried out and executed, by taking a part of content from the story that kept it in order and not filling in those gaps with some strings to hold the story in place is just either lazy writing or the executive board "overlords" being overbearing and thinking they know what's best for a game and not even giving the writers the ability to do what their supposed to do which is "LITERALLY WRITE" a story. Overall the Graphics with just a bit more polish, the Animation with more detail put into it, and The Team sticking to their Original plans of how to carry out the story they wanted to tell and better writing from that standpoint "A New Frontier" Could have been a lot better just like they hyped it up to be back in the day.

On one hand this timeline has dogshit season 2 but on the other hand it has A.J...As much as the grass could've been greener on the other side Im happy with what we got

I’ve never watched any of these S3 videos until now, simply because I just don’t really care about S3 and it’s my least favorite. But some of this stuff is pretty interesting, mainly the Clementine and Sandra S1 flashback. I’m actually so sad we never got that.

I also thought it was weird that Jane called Arvo a junkie! Especially because he’s clearly physically disabled and would probably have other health issues that he’d need shots and oxycodeine for. I think you’re definitely right about the Eddie thing and how that scene was where we originally should’ve met him. Edit: It also would’ve made more sense for the 400 days group to have a shoot out instead of the Russians because of the stakes you pointed out and others. Bonnie is in your group, so the 400 days group would probably feel betrayed by that, and they’d be mad at Luke and the others for causing Howe’s to be overrun.
