Thanks for the video. What polish compound would you use for rocks? Thank again!

Great video. I will try your technique. One suggestion though, I kindly suggest hearing protection. Those drills will make you deaf sooner than you think.

IMHO it's another tool, it's just one with side effects and it doesn't look as good. That said I'd definitely laser cut a medallion like that vs inlaying a complex knot pattern like that.

Works, makes sense, youre still hand making it using the tools you have at hand. Its just another tool to make your life easier. And the final product still looks good.

This is really getting me motivated to get my rotary tool out and actually do something with it. lmao. I bought it for doing some work on rocks that i find around the valley and to get my son into working on projects as well. but more so I'm getting into woodworking now... been doing some woodburning and I just feel like it's missing something. So now I might get even more creative. :) thanks for all the helpful tools to help expand my frame of mind and concepts. Good guidance.

gloves right beside a high speed rotating device... yeah kids, dont do this. If the workpeice gets hot, hold it using a small vice grip. Keeps cooler, and your fingers are nowhere near the dangerous bits. Also, when applying the compound, you waste far less if you apply to the pad before putting it in the dremel. You get a huge amount of debris waste kicked out when you apply while it is spinning.

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. Razortip head office is 40 mins. away, great people, great products. I have, and use the dual pen burner, very versatile machines for carving, leatherwork for melting thread ends and branding in vegtan leather for another affect.

I don't understand that logic. This is not a competition. Cheating would be selling another person's work as yours. But that would be a scam more than cheating.

I dont get where anyone would have a problem with burning your carving. I burn on all my carvings. My only complaint would be those that claim they are wood carving artists when they are only using a laser cutter. Thank you for taking your time in making this video. Great work. I like the burn! How do you price something like engraving that axe? It seems like in addition to the 15 minutes on the laser, you’ll spend a fair amount of time with setup, handling, shipping and even discussing with the customer. The result was impressive, but how do you make the business model work?

Hi, could you please tell me if 40w is good for engraving leather??
@CorneliusCreations10 күн бұрын
It is, but honestly I would go with something with a little less power… it will cut fine and be better at engraving. The 20W would be great.

Your absolutely right about the concept of fixing a problem i do 3d printing and many of the things ive printed and a couple that i modeled myself has beem quite helpful but i seee more market and ideas with the lazer engraving so thats why i just recieved mt p2 today. I work full time at our local grocery store. Even though it's nice to be out and social and being active, i want to step away from working for someone like a normal day job and work from home for my business.
