I purchased the Stanley version of the multi-angle vise...great idea using it to affix the flex-shaft handle for hands free buffing, etc. Very good demonstration, thanks...

Thank you for the video, I learned a LOT. I was wondering how do you get rid of all those minute scratches that are still discernable after you do the buffing, I'll be doing stainless steel flatware (Oneida, True Rose/Arbor Rose) and I'd like it to shine but also to not have any of those tiny scratchy lines? Thank you. PS: I guess that's where buffing comes in, like with tripoli an rouge or I'm not sure what one would use, any info you have will be GREATLY APPRECIATED, THANK YOU.

Depth carving? You need to adjust the power/speed settings to get deeper depth

So I bought the Vyper elevated steel Max. It is built like a tank ! I do expect it to last longer then me, but there are a couple things. If you are more then 200 pounds of body weight, I’m 250, you will want the “ Big Boy Attachment”. $195.00. Elst wise you may feel a little plugged up. The back presses firmly into the small of your back, with no real flex. If you are a lean backer, forget about it ! The “Adjustable Backrest” may cure this, $150.00. This is now a $1K chair. It will last longer then me and roll extremely well ! No Doubt ! Big guy that’s wants comfortable ? $1K chair.

This is an awesome product, and can help you learn muscle memory to sharpen without it. The thing to remember is you don't need to start with rough diamond every time you sharpen. Keep your knife honed and you will rarely need to sharpen even with the fine diamond. The rough diamond shoud only be used to work out bends/chips if the knife has been abused, or neglected until it is a butterknife.

What’s the best machine for beginners? I’m wanting a laser machine that can engrave on glass, metal and cut wood. I want to be able to cut out family names and letters for door hangers. I also want to be able to make custom wood cutting boards.

I love wood burning, but use a decent, moderately priced one (the best you can afford). The cheap ones from the hobby store: just don’t. You want to control the temperature and a few tips you can safely change, quickly. The cheap ones are cumbersome and dangerous imho.

Sorry mostly no, I also was looking for the answer. You only see cheap thin wood work, no aluminum or stainless steel. It's very expensive toy that actually can do less than 1500usd china laser.

Hi! I am in the process of making a buying decision. I am set on S1 with 40W and 2W IR so far. Will it be a better combo if I buy the S1 40W with F1 light instead? Or my 1st option is a better choice? Any help is appreciated!
@CorneliusCreations14 күн бұрын
Good question! So if you are dead set on the S1 40W, getting the F1 Lite would have the added benefit of engraving smaller items at faster speed… and also portability. If you get the 2W IR, you will have WAY MORE flexibility. To me, having the option to engrave metal would be more beneficial to me than getting the F1 lite. Hope this helps!
