I personally don't think you made a mistake on the knife. Copper plate lower case looks just the upper case letters, just smaller. Starting a name with the upper case letter in 'Carson' followed by lower case letters is proper.

The simplest way to hold it up is the best way. You did good.

Great video! If you warm your paint it will flow a lot better without having to water down. Just keep it in bowl of hot water etc. 👌🏻

Once you find the max size you can engrave without distortion, put a red circle (score) around it and lock it so it won't move. This way you can fit the rest of your designs inside your circle.

Great Video, I use baby powder on the high gloss ornaments and you can see the framing. I have a jig and when I put the bulb in the jig I leave the hanger on and make sure it is flat so that if I do the other side I just rotate it until it is flat again on the other side.I have to agree with you that Velf does some amazing projects and shares his settings. im a maker of many things mainly i really enjoy makin knives,swords,armor, welding art, etc.. i forged a spider and welded it but i posted it on tiktok and in the video i say dam look at the size of that spider then i start laughing and tell everyone i made it. it was summertime and raining i live in the country and some guy commented at first he thought i was in australia or something and that mad my day,but what im trying to get at is whenever i made a knife or something that i put a handle on it always looked so plain i do good on my handles but they didnt pop to me and one day im scrolling through youtube and come upon a video of yours i believe you did a heart in it. since watching it well lol my handles pop to me now and it opened me up to alot more so long story short you are the man for taking time to try and teach people cause like you said alot of the time its just someone doing it but not explaining or really trying to teach i really appreciate it and thank you i highly recommend this good man for all your wood working stuff have nice day
