If you haven’t noticed I’m binge watching you videos. I just discovered Portland Leather Goods in December of 2024. My first purchase was a mini Crossbody Tote in Cognac and I just received a Triangle bag in Sunflower today. My next purchase will be something in Honey. Thank you for these very informative videos.

I had the Louis Vuitton Lockit Pocket drawstring bag in the beige color. I bought it brand new from the boutique in 2022 and I sold it within 2 years because of terrible tarnish on the hardware. The tarnish was so bad that it stained the leather parts that held the metal rings. I spent so much time cleaning the leather with Apple Guard and hardware with Brazzo. None of my lower end bags ever gave me so much grieve like this! Needless to say I sold this Louis Vuitton bag and since stopped buying from the brand.

@@shelbylouise8917 exactly!!!! We spend so much of our hard earned money on these pieces and expect superb craftsmanship. Honestly, I’ve found the best quality from small American companies like Portland leather goods (although they’ve grown exponentially in the last few year) and kmm & co.

@@francescafp thank you so much! So my friend picked them up for me while she was in Italy, I believe Florence. It was a small locally owned shop and everything in it was made by hand, by the proprietor.

Hey Ashley how are you? So good to see you-thanks for saying hi! I’m so glad you did a Rothys style AND size comparison. Definitely helpful especially when we have to order online and try to figure out how our feet are going to do in these- I LOVE the kelly green drivers, thats my favorite color too😊- there is a company that uses the recycled water bottles as well ORILONDON that I have tried recently. Similar to Rothy’s with the prices being a little higher but the quality makes all the difference and it supports sustainability. I enjoy watching older videos where Gracie Bell made her appearance- she was a darlin. I send you best wishes for this new year.

I still can’t watch videos of Gray, it just hurts too much. Maybe one day. She was two months shy of turning 14, that’s a long time to have and love her. And that we did. Thank you so much for this review - I think I have watched it 10 times! I ended up ordering the Tomato from Amazon of all places (who knew?) and the coordinating small flap wallet. I was thinking about getting the coordinating large zip around wallet but I wasn't sure if that would be too big for the bag since it's bigger than the continental.

The biggest difference between D&B and LV is that LV bags are made of a coated canvas and D&B is made out of all leather. Just based off of that, D&B is a far more superior product. During the pandemic, I sold almost all of my LV’s, only kept a few sentimental pieces, and made a killing on them. Since then, I have been buying D&B exclusively and have never been happier.

@@pjeames3334 I’ve had a love hate relationship with this bag. Love my Frye shoes, all of them! But if you’re looking for a good leather bag, I would try Portland Leather Goods, they’re budget friendly and just good leather bags made in their own studio in Mexico. Or, KMM & Co, they make their bags hand made to order from Georgia( a little more pricey but no more than you’d pay for a Frye). Or, Go Forth Goods, also out of Georgia and hand made to order. Look at those websites before you purchase a Frye bag. Frye bags are great, but these brands have even better leather, in my opinion.

I absolutely hate Saffiano leather. It's cheap and it peels, cracks and wrinkles. I avoid them. It's poly covered thin cheap leather. I love your videos!! New sub!

Try the soap, it’s pricy but is so luxurious and creamy with a loofa sponge. Just heavily in the bath with the bath gel.

@@kessiabrown hey Kes! I’m in MS too, Hattiesburg. Where are you? Yes, I love me some PLG!!!! I found PLG back in 2021 I think. And yes girl, the perimenopause is real! I’m 42 and have been in it since 35. Hit flashes, change in hair and skin texture, waking up with sever dry eye, brain fog coupled with anxiety which I’ve never suffered from. It’s horrible!

My husband is a game warden and was assigned to Pike Co for several years so we spent a good bit of time there riding the golf carts around in spring and fall. 🤣 And yes, I’ve been eating at Mr. Whiskers for as long as I can remember. I bet we have laid eyes on each other. Isn’t that wild?! How do you like living in IA? The weather is bound to be better there.

@@Cfletch97 not to me. Hardware is minimal and not chunky so that keeps weight down. But having that, it is leather so it will be heavier than canvas or coated cotton. But short answer, in my opinion, no.

Have had a secrid since 2016 and never had troubles with them so its more a problem with the metal cards then the secrid wallet imho
